All of those are feasible answers but the one that will probably most definitely come true is taking a severe paycut.

I voted for mid card hell. That's where Angle went after he lost.... although ti worked out good for Angle.

I would have gone with "feud w/Booker T", but since they're on opposite shows, it becomes tricky. Besides, we all know what the real answer is.

I'd say it's a combination between Midcard hell, cruiserweight and Matt and Lita.

I must have missed that. How exactly did it work out good?

Getting pinned by Lita is next for Y2J.

I predict midcard hell, either that, or becoming the newest Jakked jobber.

Nowhere good thats for sure. Poor Jericho...becoming Stephanie's bitch.

I voted for midcard hell since that appears the most likely of all the options given. If they don't shoot a big angle with Jericho on SD next week then he's definitely going to be in midcard hell for a while. But I'm holding out some hope that they will restart the Jericho/Rock feud.

They appeared to blow off the Rock/Hogan/NWO feud on Smackdown to put all the attention on Kane/NWO for the upcoming RAW shows. So, Rock needs a new opponent and the only top heels on the Smackdown side are Angle and Jericho. And it's unclear whether or not they have dropped the Edge/Angle feud. After that, it's a steep drop to Test,Christian and Lance Storm.

I know some people will complain that they have done Rock/Jericho to death the last couple months. But there was never really a blow off to the feud.  Jericho holds three PPV victories over while Rock has yet to beat Jericho on PPV. It would make sense that Rock would still want his revenge. Even if Jericho lost to Rock at Backlash, the program would still make him look stronger because Rock could be portrayed as the underdog for never being able to beat Jericho. And unlike other top guys, Rock has always treated Jericho as an equal during their promos and their matches.

It's a win-win situation to me. Rock gets a big win to help him after the Mania debacle and Jericho gets to rebuild some of his credibility that was killed by Triple H and Stephanie. And I have no problem listening to 20 minute Rock/Jericho promos every week.

I don't really want to see Rocky get his wins back from Jericho.

They already took his titles away...jobbing to the guy who put him over would be the final nail in Jericho's coffin.

About the only thing he has going for him is that he did beat the Rock and Austin.

Giving those back is like career suicide.

For the last few years...the face doesn't have to win the blowoff match...either that or HHH did a bunch of jobs that I must have missed.

Sure, the Rock didn't beat Jericho on PPV, but he did beat him for the WCW belt, only a few weeks after Jericho won it, on Raw.

I would have agreed with you if the Jericho had been built up strong during his feud with Triple H. If he had left that feud with his credibility and heat intact then he could have moved down the card a little and work with guys like Edge and in turn gave them a little rub by working with them.

But what does Edge gain by beating Jericho now? Nothing. Jericho has no heat nor credibility now thanks to Stephanie writing him to be her errand boy/bitch for the weeks leading up to Mania. And Triple H did nothing to make Jericho look strong before beating him. Everytime Triple H would come out and do an interview, he would tell Jericho "to wait a minute" or "I'll get to you in a minute."  Making him come across like a complete nobody while he focused all his attention and insults on Stephanie. The only offense of Jericho's that Hunter ever sold were the sledgehammer shots. But even that was done just to make Triple H look even better when he won at Mania.

Jericho needs to be built back up again so guys like Edge and the Hardys can benefit from working with him. The best way I can think to do that with the split is to restart the Rock/Jericho feud, which has always garnered Jericho his best reactions as a heel.

Jericho can score a couple wins over Rock in tag team matches and maybe even another PPV win before Rock finally wins the blowoff match. And hopefully by this time everyone has forgotten his "partnership" with Stephanie and Jericho will have some credibility again.

But I guess this is just pointless anyways since if Jericho did start to get over again, I'm sure he'd immediately be booked in a title match against Triple H on Smackdown.

I just want the man to remain a heel. That's it. I don't think he'll be in midcard to long if at all. I heard a couple of people say they want a face turn. That would suck. As a face is where people see him as a midcarder. Plus he lacks the fire that the crowd likes to get behind for the ME faces. I think that is one of the reason's that his face run only took him so far. He is much better suited as a heel. Look at his cruieser run in WCW. His run as a face was stale and bland, but as a heel not many forgot it.

His feud with Benoit, then when we werre waiting for him to get back to the main event he gets in the Vince-Austin thing and makes great TV, and once Austin screws him at Invasion we got a great feud.
