It was the match right before Christian turned on Edge. That night was probably Christian's finest hour by the way, as his acting skills and rage were off the charts. Not to mention they did it in Toronto, the best place to pull off the angle.

I got all the 2001 PPV DVDs (except No Way Out because for some reason, it was the only 2001 PPV not to be on DVD) and I don't recall hearing loud chants from the crowd of "You Suck!" when Angle came out for matches before he turned face later that year...

It was in the build to NWO 01, Rock vs. Angle. Rock's stupid ass "Pie" music video had just been released. Angle comes out, shows the video, makes fun of it, and then runs his *own* music video, of him beating the shit out of Rocky set to "medal" The crowd was chanting "You Suck."

 

Am I the only one who remembers this?
