Who are your States biggest sports Villians

In Philly, Kobe Bryant, of course, which I actually find a little bit sad.

But know who Philly really hates? Tyronn Lue. That little punk gets such a big reaction every time he touches the ball.

Boston/New England? Hmm....I think I'll need some of my fellow New Englanders for this, but off the top of my head:

Sox owner who sold Ruth to the Yankees

Bucky FUCKING Dent

Roger Clemens

Dan Duquette

Magic Johnson/Kareem/The Lakers (not as much now, but they were friggin' SATAN in the 80's)

Rick Pitino (pretty much shat on the Celtics legacy. Taking the Team President title from Red? BLASPHEMY!!!)

Bill Parcells

Pete Caroll (pretty much an idiot as a head coach)

I know there's a LOT more, but that's all I got.

How could you forget Bill Buckner and Derek Jeter. In fact I saw some guy selling Jeter's a Fag t-shirts outside Fenway once (And what an elequant t-shirt). You also forgot Jason and Joumana Kidd and generally the New Jersey Nets overall.

I take it you're not a hockey fan, eh? I'd add Jacobs, Lemieux, and Ulfie Samuelson (as pointed out by Jango earlier) and also add Harry Sinden & Mike O'Connell, and also Gary Bettman - but he gets booed EVERYWHERE that remembers hockey as it used to be.

What about Lindros?

In Ottawa we hate the Leafs above all else (although we don't like the Oshawa Generals much either). For Ontario in general, Roger Clemens is public enemy number one.

I give Buckner some leeway. That ball took a weird hop right before it got to him and bounced right over his glove. The pitcher that threw the wild pitch that scored the tying run deserves more distain.

Jeter, ok, I'll give you that. The Kidd situation was grasping for straws, I think.

I listed people who fans here just need to hear their name mentioned to get whipped up into a frenzy.

What about the owner of the Bruins? He's a lazy bastard and I think people hate him around here. In fact some people I know became Canadians fans because of the under achieving Bruins.

Well, yeah, there's another. I've pretty much washed my hands of the Bruins and the NHL in general, so I really don't care about a lot of the stupidity that permeates that organization.

*I* still like Lindros. And Scott Rolen.

I'd add Joe Carter, and (depending on how long people's memories are) Chris Chelios and Leon Stickle (sp?, how can you miss a play that far offsides?!?).

Speaking of Joe Carter, is there still hate for Mitch Williams in Philly?

And I've never liked Chelios...

Maryland - Steinbrenner and the Yankees, Duke Basketball, Jeffrey Meier (the kid that cost the Os in the 96 playoffs..damn him even still today!), Dallas Cowboys (Redskins) and Pittsburgh Steelers (Ravens), The Irsay Family (specifically Robert Irsay but he's dead..), some people hate Peter Angelos (I personally don't), and there is a growing hatred movement towards Redskins owner Dan Snyder (which I do..)

Im pretty sure Im missing a few others though..

I live in Evansville, Indiana.

I've heard enough about the IU-Purdue rivalry. I've also heard plenty about the IU-U of Kentucky revival as well. Since Evansville is technically the capital of "North Kentucky", it's totally understandable.

But I suppose in a few years, the biggest sports villian in Indiana will be the owner of the Colts, if he decides to move them to Los Angeles...
