I just by chance bought an old video called 'Best of Raw Vol 5' for 2 quid down at a second hand shop- but look what it's got on it!!:-

Rocky Maivia vs Vader- IC title- See Rocky get beaten to a pulp and the crowd are loving it!

Sid vs Mankind- WWF title- decent little brawl

Bulldog vs Owen Hart- European title tournament finals!!!!!!

Undertaker/Sid vs Mankind/Vader- First time Taker used the tope thing he does I think

LOD vs Savio Vega/Crush- well something had to be bad....

British Bulldog vs Owen Hart- European title rematch!!!

Bret Hat vs Sid- title match in cage- includes Hart's heel promo after match- great stuff!

Bulldog/Owen vs Headbangers- crap match but has the formation of Hart Foundation

Goldust vs HHH

Ken Shamrock's first wwe appearance- shoot style match

Steve Austin vs Mankind

Mankind/Vader vs Headbangers

Ahmed Johnson vs Crush- worst match on tape

Taker vs HHH

Steve Austin vs Bret Hart- the streetfight- includes ambulance angle post match

Rocky Maivia vs Owen Hart- ic match- Owen wins

Taker vs Bulldog- great for Hart foundations antics

That was quite a find- does anyone have similar great but nearly unknown compilations??

I once had Bruno Sammartino's video from Colisuem, but I sold it...

I have the one after that: Best Of Raw 6. I basically got it for the 26/5/97 tag title classic but it's an all together great video. It has lots of Harts/Austin stuff.

As far as other hard to find comps I've got Best Of Starrcade/Slamboree, Smack'em Whack'em, Invasion 1992, and about 60 other official home videos.

Awesome tape... anyone know any site that sells this one or any of the other "Best of RAW" series tapes?

I'd like to get my hand on a few of those Best of Raw tapes myself.

I think I saw one in a Flea Market once.

Those weird Best of RAW's (everything after BORV 3) are PAL-exclusive , if I remember right (eBay searches).

I have a ton of Coliseum videos but none that would be classified as "nearly unknown."

The Undertaker's been doing that rope walk for years. It was a trademark of his as Mean Mark Callous. He just didn't use it much in the WWF up until about '96 or so.

The original poster was actually mentioning the tope Taker does from time to time.

IIRC, he didn't begin using it until late-'97, with a few famous PPV appearances here and there (Ground Zero, Wrestlemania XIV, Unforgiven '98 and msot recently No Way Out '03).

I've got a few good matches here and there.

Flair vs Michaels when Shawn was a Rocker.

Flair vs Steamboat from All Japan'82.

Bret vs Yokozuna in the cage from '94.

Bret vs 123 Kid (X Pac) from '94.

Bret vs Shawn in the cage from '94.

TONS of Benoit vs Jericho from Japan.

Jericho vs Taz from ECW.

Some Misterio vs Psychosis/Guerrera from ECW.

Flair vs Garvin in the cage from '87 (near riot)

Just don't remember the tapes. I've got over 2000.

Actually this isn't a Coliseum Video unless they have a company called that in wherever.

Undertaker has been doing the rope walks forever, and he started doing the suicide dive since Ground Zero (IYH Sept. 97) and uses it rarely now of course.

A company called Silver Vision marketted the Coliseum Video releases in Europe.

Thanks.

Well, all those matches are collected from early 97 Raws, so I guess Taker didn't debut the tope at Ground Zero, although I'd always been under the impression that was indeed the first time he busted it out. Probably the first time he took out half the locker room with it, though.
