I saw it said offline, but I wanted to know if we were going to truly do it offline, or do it like we did with the baseball league and do the picks live in the chat room.

I vote for offline. I lucked out big time having Z get me some pretty darn good guys in the baseball draft. Chances are, due to real-life commitments, I will be unable to do a "live" draft.

Well, since the season doesn't start for another 2 months, I think we can wait some more until closer to the season's beginning.

Yeah, I wouldn't have the draft until at least after the hall of fame game. Players and teams are still manuevering and figuring out what's what.

 

Also, give people time to organize their draft lists and figure out who they want. I haven't even begun to think about that yet.

Don't worry guys...he can't do the draft now anyway because it won't let us set our draft lists yet....it's probably waiting until the Hall of Fame Game.

 

Mid-late August is a good time seeing as how all of the movement should be done and we'll know how players are faring somewhat. Last thing we want is to pick someone like Marshall Faulk in the first round and have him get injured for the season in training camp.
