I think the anti-mark sentiment is a tad high? I am sure there are some incredibly intelligent marks, just as there are some incredibly unintelligent smarks. The whole idea of smark/mark is really just dependent on how you prefer to watch and be entertained by wrestling. I'm sure everyone here was a mark at some stage.

Well I don't know. Smarks are entertained by wrestling, they just see a lot more things than marks do. They are more picky with what they see.

An intelligent mark is something I once was as well.

 

For example, I could tell you straight off the top of my head any match that had occurred within the last 15 years that had been on Pay-Per View. On top of that, I could tell you the storyline behind it and how the match finished.

 

However, I refused to believe that my heroes were 'fake' and pretending to hit one another. I thought it was ALL real.

 

Now, not much has changed except that I understand how the business works. This allows me to get more out of it, I believe, as I now appreciate hard work, good booking and individual contributions to the future of sports entertainment.

 

Nothing wrong with marks. Just idiotic ones that have NO clue about anything besides that 'stoned cold is gooder then hunter homo LMAOZZZzz' shit me off.

Crikey, I go away for a week and all of a sudden there's 100 Aussies posting. Awesome. I hadn't realised there were guys here from WNA, probably as I'm the only one using the same username over here. Who are all of you?? It's awesome we've got SD! and PPVs back. Do we know exactly when the PPVs will be back?? I suppose the next step for me is to actually get pay TV in my regular house so I can watch more than 2-3 months per year!!
