Absolutely not. I think he is glancing over them and having a hard time really paying attention. That is the way things go when you repeat PPVs. After a match or so, if you really dislike one, it is hard to really get into it.

I thought Storm and Edge was a really good match. It was an excellent way to open the show. It was a match that was about 3- 3 1/2*. It really set the table for the show. I also felt Rock and Booker-T was a really solid match; around 3*. Furthrmore, if you are going to quote Scott Keith to help support your ladder match argument; he also discredits your rating on Edge and Storm. SK gave the Edge/Storm match 4*. I agree that the Ladder match was about 3 1/2*. I feel Jericho and Rhyno was around 3*. I feel the rest of the ratings are pretty fair.

RVD V. Jeff at Invasion was way better than their Summerslam rematch, at least a ***1/2 match , their ladder match was a **1/2 match.

Edge vs. Storm, I'd go with ***1/4, and the Ladder Match gets ***

i always thought the hardcore match was better than the ladder match. hardcore match was just more flat-out fun, and there wasn't all that waiting between spots.

 

i think it was also the first time i saw van dam take a ddt, which i said "oh my god" about for the next 10 minutes.

I agree that RVD and Jeff Hardy had a better match at Invasion.

 

Invasion RVD vs. Jeff--***, fun match.

 

Summerslam RVD vs. Jeff--*, the most BORING non-event spotfest ladder match I've ever SEEN. I actually slightly preferred Taker/Kane vs. DDP/Kanyon!

 

I also throw my hat in the "Edge vs. Storm is *** or so" ring. Superb ribwork by Storm in this one. Though that kinda meant that Christian's accidental spear on Edge SHOULD have been the finish. I didn't buy that he'd kick out after all that work on the gut.

Yeah, the RVD-Hardy match at InVasion was MUCH better than the ladder match.
