Can Konnan Make WWE Rowdy Rowdy & Bouty & Bouty?

Anyway you slice it, professional wrestling is no longer cool. People have moved on to other things and the only people left watching are the hardcore fans. The critics say Vince McMahon has lost his touch and that WWE is behind the times. My solution to make WWE "rowdy rowdy and bouty bouty" once again is to hire "K-Dawg" Konnan. I am certain that he is on a pay-per-night deal with NWA-TNA so WWE could snatch him at any time.

 

Anywho, I am certain that Konnan knows more about what youth want nowadays than some middle aged suburban caucasian 45 year olds that WWE probably employs. He's "down wit it". Konnan is in tune with what's hot and what's not nowadays, and would do a better job than the people currently employed. Perhaps he could also help expand WWE's horizons by going and outside the box and not having all the music they use be rock music. I mean, would it hurt to use rap music for a ppv theme just once? WWE could probably get more African-American viewers if they appealed more to blacks, which they don't, which is why they don't have many.

 

WWE should sign Konnan, maybe not so much to wrestle (even though he'd be more entertaining than half the roster cough Mark Jindrak, Basham Brothers, Bill DeMott cough), but because he's good at ideas and I think he can help. I'm guessing that every single person WWE has employed in the marketing department is white, and no black or Spanish people for whatever reason, so I think it would help to sign him because he's not as delusional as them.

Konnan said on an internet interview a couple of months that the reason he isn't in WWE right now is because he already got heat from company (mainly from Bruce Prichard) because when he called them up, he introduced himself as Konnan and not by his real name. Hard to believe and stupid too, but its true.

 

Anyway, I would mark out for a Filthy Animals reunion (especially including Eddie Guerrero). I'll just pretend Disco Inferno was not ever part of the group.

Honestly I'd like to see a Filthy Animal's reunion...That was one of my most favourite gimmicks/factions in WCW(and of all time)

 

However I highly DOUBT Konnan will do anything significant. Sure he can be pumped up when he wants to be to promote himself and his friends...But hell if he does anything to help non-friends.

 

He's got heat from the company(and other companies probably) because he's not a full team player. Case in point....Look what happened between him and Vampiro. Their feud in Mexico erupted into a real life feud...Involving threats towards each other and their families.

 

And when Konnan and Vampiro were in WCW...It was Konnan and his friends that pushed to have Vampiro removed from any chance of showing what he could do. All this due to the feud that occured before in Mexico.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing Konnan (maybe even as a figure head of a faction, not a wrestler)...But no matter how you slice it...WWE totally blows the stereotypes out of the water...La Resistance, Los Guerreo's,etc...So it's inevitable...

Anyone that can seriously ask for Konnan in WWE obviously has not seen his ROH or TNA work, it's painful to watch. I would take A-Train and any other WWE wrestler over him. ANY I tells ya.

 

And Konnan can't get a crowd to do anything but say his lines and maybe applaud the roling clothesline. It's a fatter, less-talented Road Dogg. Or, a even less conditioned BG James. No matter which way you take it, he is ten times worse than Road Dogg, and that's saying something. At least TNA have isolated them both to comedy skits that only last a few minutes.

I remember the first time I saw Vampior on WCW tv. He was El Vampiro from Canada! I couldn't stop laughing
