Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 RVD, although he is getting better, is not very good at pacing a match. He has great spots...and just seems to lather, rinse, repeat his moveset...and when he completes them all...hits the ***** and wins. I don't think that RVD could have 20 minute matches in the WWF. Look at the 12 minute Goldust match from No Way Out. He ran out of things to do about 7 minutes in. That's not to say that he can't improve it...I feel he is miles ahead of his stalling, spotfests in ECW... But as I've said before...It's not how many moves you know...it's knowing how and when to use them. And HHH HAD that in spades. It is far more likely that HHH will get back to that level...before RVD improves enough to match it.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted March 31, 2002 wow did you see the match he had against storm a little while ago? he used some pretty good psychology in that match. he sold the leg injury like a pro.
Guest alfdogg Report post Posted March 31, 2002 "I do not think that anyone can say that Triple H has sucked his entire career." Well, I CAN say that, but I'm not going to, becuase you are right. HHH's war with Rock was awesome in 2000, whether I like the guy or not. Benoit got a pretty good match out of him at No Mercy, and also his matches with Foley and the one with Jericho at Fully Loaded were awesome. Before Foley, though, his only memorable good match was SummerSlam '98, IMO.
Guest Report post Posted March 31, 2002 What is Hardy heat? Is that anything like X-Pac heat? I thought that the Hardys were way over. Who hates them and wants to see them fired?

Guest Some Guy Report post Posted March 31, 2002 RVD seems to be in a big hurry to get his spots in and runs out of moves as bps said. HHH who has about 6 signature moves (many involving the knee) managed to consistantly have better matches in 2000 than RVD has ever had. RVD showed flashes or getting it in a Raw match with Rock, where he was baseball sliding and generally attacking Rock's ribs to set up the *****. But by Smakdown he was right back to his old shit. I watched RVD's RF shoot interview and he called himself and Sabu the best workers in the business and I really think he meant it. He descibed how he liked very action packed martial arts fight scenes in movies and I think he feels that action packed spot fests make a good wrestling match rather than psycology based matched with a series of high spots. RVD would be in the ME right now if he would just stop being stubborn about only doing what he feels is a great match and doing an actual great match. There are countless people in WWF right now who's brain he could pick, Paul Heymen, Arn Anderson, and Ric Flair would be a good place to start. This is purely my speculation, not not concrete fact. It is my opinion based on following his career for a few years.
Guest Risk Report post Posted March 31, 2002 I don't know this to be true, but Flair seems to like RVD IMO. He just seems happy during promos with RVD. So RVD could eventually get HHH out of the polictial picture and fight for the midcarders.
Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 It's funny how this post went from HGH bashing to RVD v.s. HHH, but anyway I wouldn't be complaining about the undisputed champ right now if he was the HHH from the year 2000 busting his ass in the ring instead of using his backstage politics to be in the spotlight. What we are getting right now it's a HHH from 1996 when he didn't have any heat. Now about RVD, even though I'm a big fan of his since his ECW days I don't think of him as a great worker right now but he has improved since he first joined the WWF and eventually will get better because he's got potential and in the prime of his life. 2000 HGH could've run circles around RVD ,but now RVD could run circles, do somersaults, moonsaults, and 5* frog splashes around HGH.And by the way F*CK Hogan AND THE NWOld!!!!!!
