Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 Or a ripoff of any shirt with "F_CK {insert something}," such as the white trash mallfuck favorite "GO F_CK YO_RSELF" with "Can I buy a vowel?" printed elsewhere on the shirt.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 Why does it say "FOCK FEAR?" That's what I always see, too.
Guest Insane Bump Machine Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 I don't get this shirt at all. It's supposed to be that 'badass, Stone Cold, DTA, I do what I want when I want where I want, I drink beer all day, It's great to be a bad motherfucker' shirt, right? But to me it just says 'I'm such a wimp, I don't even dare to say FUCK in public'. Am I the only one who thinks that way?
Guest Steve J. Rogers Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 Shows like this especially make me hate the stupid "2003" thing on the side spines. Not only does WM look fucked compared to past spines, but who's gonna buy shows like this one? Thats very true about the spines, first off, they allready screwed up as Kurt was on one of the early ones when it looked like he'd be out the rest of the year, second the original add had Judgement Day listed as "King of The Ring" and I think the rumors that they were changing the KOR name started around that time. I'd have to find another complete picture, but what if someone on the spine of Survivor Series or the December PPV is terminated between now and the time of the PPV, in other words that person is not going to even be mentioned on that PPV, does that image then get changed? Has to be of course but its stuff like this that demonstrates lack of forward thinking Steve
Guest Steve J. Rogers Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 Just to add, basically the point is, if you are going to do something like that, just do that in a re-release (in a box set or as "commemorative edition" singles) but not as the indivdual discs are coming out. Don't assume that everyone who buys a PPV will buy EVERY PPV you make. Some just collect "The Big 5" or just WM DVDs or RR DVDs or just want a PPV featuring a classic match Steve
slimm44 Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 I buy all the PPV DVD's. some of the other DVD's like 619 and Shawn Michaels dont look good to me. The evolution shirt looked great on RAW but sadly dissapointed me and my friend b/c of the back. There are some pretty good shirts that WWE offers, yet where there is a pro, there is a con. The Hogan stuff went on sale a week after Hogan quit, so Piper's Pit shirt should be on sale later this week. IMO
Guest BoboBrazil Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 Funny, TNA came out with that fuck shirt then like 3 weeks later WWE comes out with one. I'm sure it is just a coincidence right?
Guest wwF1587 Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 god i saw the front and i was all excitted to get that shirt.. then the back ruined it...the front is pretty tight i must admit
Guest undisputedjericho Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 The Evolution shirt should have this on the back: THE PAST (Picture of Flair) THE PRESENT (Picture of HHH) THE FUTURE (Picture of HHH)
ChrisMWaters Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 The Evolution shirt should have this on the back: THE PAST (Picture of Flair) THE PRESENT (Picture of HHH) THE FUTURE (Picture of HHH) Unless there's a joke there...you made a typo.
Guest undisputedjericho Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 No, that was another sad attempt at a joke...
Guest JaKyL25 Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 Funny, TNA came out with that fuck shirt then like 3 weeks later WWE comes out with one. I'm sure it is just a coincidence right? Most likely, yes. You think they can design the shirt and get it available for mass production in a mere 3 weeks? Even if it was inspired by TNA's shirt, it would take a lot of rushing to be able to do that, and why would they rush it?
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 That Evolution shirt is hidious. And if I wore that TNA shirt I'd have to add "Russo" under Vince
Guest Choken One Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 That's just pathetic... Trying to argue that WWE created that Shirt just because TNA a fed run by The Jarretts and Russorific had a shirt that said F**K VINCE? TNA MARKDOM gone into hyperdrive.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 But to me it just says 'I'm such a wimp, I don't even dare to say FUCK in public'. Am I the only one who thinks that way? There has to be limits as to what they can say on their shirts. At least we aren't back in the days of "S*CK IT!"

There has to be limits as to what they can say on their shirts. I know that (although the public display of the word FUCK isn't a problem here in Germany), and that's why I think that the whole shirt is a stupid idea. Either go all the way or don't do it at all. That shirt looks pussified and stupid.
