The old GOLDENEYE game was great (certainly better than the movie). Jaws was a pain in the ass!

Metroid Prime is sort of an Extended FPS. I like it.

 

Goldeneye would be #1 if I had gotten to play more multiplayer.

Yeah, but technically it is a first person shooter..

 

Its in the first person perspective, and you shoot guns. It shares that same comonality with all the other games listed.

I also like teh Return to Wolfenstein. I actually don't like the new, free one as much as the old, not-free one.

 

Big ups to Doom, Quake 2, and Duke Nukem, for introducing me to the magical world of pretending to shoot ugly virtual monsters.

Counter-Strike for P.C. Currently version 1.5 is played on-line, but 1.3 was my favorite. Ahh, the days of strafe jumping...

I don't play much FPS, but I really enjoy Counter-Strike and this other Half-Life mod called Gangwars.

I would pick Timesplitters 2 over Halo for two reasons. First, Timesplitters is the fastest, most intense game that there is. When I play it, I actually feel like I am in a war zone because shit is being shot at me from every different direction all the time. Secondly, and this is most important, is that Timesplitters has an almost infinite replay value. There are so many different missions, scenerios, and challenges to play, that it is nearly impossible to finish all of them. And that is just for single player. Multiplayer is the most extensive ever in a game before, with probably a hundred different scenerios to play and probably 150 characters or so. Plus, connecting two PS2's and playing with 8 friends is just awesome.

 

Seriously, if you havn't checked out Timesplitters 2, I would suggest you do so. You won't be dissapointed.
