Tell you what's quite funny.. that about five posters have made a thread go over 50 pages.

What a classic thread...

I read this whole thread through from beginning to end the other month when I had nothing better to do.

By the time i'd finished I wouldn't even have called it a waste of time.

:o

Nobody makes you come back :(

We have Forest and Derby coming up at home soon.

We're the side that lost at home to Rotherham so maybe there's hope for Forest yet. It is looking a bit bleak for them at the moment though.

I'd worry about us at home, mate.

We've won 7 out of last 8 away games. We just suck at home. RE: today.

We're bad at home as well, a couple of 0-0 results, both were awful games which are available on DVD for £7 quid each on the bcfc website :)

Bristol City Clubshop

is yours better? Personally the only thing I have is the centenary shirt with the surnames of every player who's had a 1st time match at Ashton gate.

Do you release 'seasons in review'? We have been releasing them on VHS since we went up in 96.

The 2000 one was gold, every match started the same.

And things went from bad to worse as Derby visited...

We only do them when we have good seasons.

So, no, we don't do them.

Realism setting in sir, how do you think the end of the season will turn out for you?

Derby and non-Derby fans I know are saying you're as good as down.

My favourite season review tape is 96/97. Enough drama and memorable moments for half a dozen seasons. There's a 101 great Leicester goals DVD out I think. Too easy to make a joke about that title really.

Blackpool in the cup tonight. Good news is Walker's back. Unfortunately so is Gillespie.

Unless Megson can change things dramaticlly we're down.

Our main problem is up front. We create at least two one-on-one with the keeper inside the penalty area chances a game for Johnno, King or Harris and they blaze them over or wide everytime. Plus Dawson seems to have dreams of playing in League One as he's been shocking this year.

We tried when Hart was in charge, apparantly but either the wasn't interested or all the players said "we don't want that twat here". Probably both is true.

When he was briefly down here he ended up getting a smack off Trevor Benjamin so the story goes.

Yep.

He had his name chanted by the fans more often than any other player this season. He'd attained that cult favour certain crap players 'who try really hard' get sometimes.

Darryl Powell comes to mind.

Who incidentilly, was ridiculed, not cheered.

We're on Sky again, this Sunday, West Ham away.

Btw, I have my laptop back now, so I can post more regularly.

So yeah,.

Speaking of DVD's, Ive got the Southampton 6 - Man Utd 3, the FA Cup 3rd round, Saints 4 - Spurs 0, the 2002 FA Cup final, the 3-2 win against Arsenal in the very last game at the Dell, when Matt Le Tissier in his final ever game at the final ever game at the Dell scores a magnificent volley to make it 3-2 to Saints and everyone ran on the pitch, just a pure goosebump moment, and the Matt Le Tissier Unbelievable VHS, and also bizarrely the 88-89 Season review which I picked up at a car boot sale for 50p, what an attacking line up we had then, a young 17 year old Le Tissier, Shearer and the Wallaces

Matt Le God was about 20 when that season got underway, and not 17. The Danny Wallace - Rod Wallace - Matt Le Tiss triangle was long established before Shearer hit the first team.

I would also recommend getting the 76 Cup Final DVD - I got it for my Dad (he was there) and he was chuffed. He took me to the 2003 final, but things didn't turn out as well! Oh well!

Yeah, I know. I reckon you'll be going up this year...

What the hell are they putting in the Trent??

If we're to go up, we're going to have to sort our home form out. Something like 8 out of the last 10 away games won is great and all, but that's nothing if we don't have a half-decent home record.

Starting this Wednesday, at home to Leeds United.

Good match review of Forest fan site,

STOKE 0 LEEDS 1 This was the first match ever to be designated "The Worst Match In The History Of The World" before it had even finished. The referee was so bewildered by the seemingly pointless sequence of events that he tried to kill himself several times with the ball. The goal was an own goal of such monumentally bizarre ineptitude that they will probably name a street after it. Own Goal Road. A bit like Kit Kat Crescent - did you notice that? York have sold the name of their ground to Nestle for a hundred thousand pounds. Now, if Forest were offered twenty million pounds to change the CG to "Arsehole Lane", should they take it?

Surely Gillingham will be one of the two to go down with Rotherham, they were absolutely shite on saturday. Probably the worst side i've seen down at Leicester this season.
