Hey...I just brought a Monte Carlo last week off my old man.

 

Good Car man.

 

I now have three primary rides...

 

1995 Silver Mustang

1997 Blue Silverado

1998 Black Monte Carlo

It was a Cobra. My friend's Eclipse is a GT. Powerful but not enough for the Mustange.

He's got it turbo'd. Thing is he's had it for less than a week and he isnt too experienced with a manuel. Especially while racing. He tried to double shift but failed horribly

Any suggestions? I want something a little lighter then the 'Rado but not something like those little punk kids s10's...

I suck when it comes to trucks. Dont know too much about them. I dont drive my Escalade that much either. But the new Escalades EXT have a 6.0-liter V-8 345hp. Caranddriver.com have an article about an Escalalde they modified to 700hp at 5200 RPMs that outbeat a corvette, Porsche 911, BMW M3, and a Ferrari 360 Modena F1

Why not go with another Silverado? I dont like Dodge's. Chevys are nice but I know shit about them. I am going strictly on looks and from the little experience I have.

Or I might get a Grand Prix but that's along the same lines of a Monte Carlo though...

 

I don't like Civic's or those type of small cars...It feels like a death box.

Well I can understand that. Changing your ride after 6 years is understandable. My dad's friend has a Ford F Series. They go from $18,000s to the low $30,000s.

Me? Right off the factory is good enough for my ass...I'll admit I put new speakers in the truck but jesus christ it took 4 years of LOA/Metallica to force me to it.

We arent all the way satisfied. For the same reason weight lifters take roids, they arent all the way satisfied with themselves. I admit I do spend more money on cars they most people do but I have to drive this thing every day and if Im not happy with it then its hard to drive it.

This argument can go on for hours without it getting closer to it being solved than it is now. The only noticeable thing on all my cars are the rims. I dont do anything else. No crazy looking body kits you see on Civics, or 20 foot wings or anything like that. And now a days you see rims on almost all cars.

I watched my father put 45,000 in cars but never said a word but If I see some one put in rims I go "Was it really that neccessary"?

I just hate seeing hub caps. Makes the car so ugly. Then I will always put in a system. Maybe some small mods in the engine. I put most of it in the interior though. I like to show my car. When people get in and ask about it, it feels good. I do it for myself not to get approval from others. But if you look at my car from the outside you wouldnt be able to tell I put any money into it.

For me I would have to say Sparco racing seats. Those suckers were the most uncomfortable things I ever sat on. Took those babies off soon and resold them. Especially on long distance rides.

haha. Yeah that would discourage me from fastening up everytime I got in the car. The Recaros in the Evo's are nice though. They are wider for better comfort.
