Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 23, 2003 The off air reports and live notes from RAW have failed to mention that Goldberg had a fairly big mishap during a commercial break during last night’s show. When Goldberg was in the ring and the show was at commercial, Goldberg went to jump on the turnbuckle to pump up the crowd and accidentally tripped and fell. Reports from fans in attendance indicate that he was tied up in the ropes and took nearly four seconds to recover. The crowd reacted with a high volume of laughs and many felt it killed his “monster” image. Goldberg was very upset over the incident and even flipped some fans off that were taunting him in the front row. After he realized what he had done, he gave other some high-fives to try and make it up. We have also received information that the crowd was very upset when the show ended without an addition appearance from Steve Austin and no appearances by The Rock. There were chants of “we want our money back!” Throughout the event, “boring” chants were very common and a new chant of “Fast Forward” was started. -IWrestling

Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted July 23, 2003 Sure Goldberg tripped during the commercial? When Triple H was walking up the ramp with Flair and Orton I saw Triple H point and laugh at Goldberg and by time the camera panned back to the ring Goldberg was standing on the turnbuckel. Guest Loss4Words Report post Posted July 23, 2003 Anaheim is only a step above the Nassau Coliseum crowd quite honestly. The only guys over in Anaheim are Steve Austin and the Rock because it's not a wrestling area and most of the people who go to the events there are not really wrestling fans. You're not the only one. You could see Goldie making a second attempt at climbing Mount Turnbuckle when if you looked at the TitanTron behind HHH.

I don't exactly remember when it happened, but I remember Goldberg giving someone in the front row the look or something too after he got up on the turnbuckle. I could have dreamed this up though. Fuck Goldberg, by the way.

Guest Coffey Report post Posted July 24, 2003 The fans chanting we want our money back will obviously fall on deaf ears. "Card subject to change" actually means that the WWE can show whatever the fuck they want. They never said Rock would be there anyway did they? At least not officially. True, they have offered no guarantees. But if fans are chanting that they want their money back at the end of your show, should you be thinking: a. "Thank God we put 'Card subject to change' so we have no legal liability and don't have to give those guys dick all." or b. "Holy shit, they're chanting they want their money back! We seriously need to look at our product and improve it somehow." Those chants shoudl be listened to.
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2003 A, Because they were only chanting for their money back because a non advertised wrestler/movie star and a non wrestler didn't show up at the end of the show. It had nothing to do with the product the way I read it.
