WCW in WWE SHOULDN'T count. The whole novelty of the WCW/WWE/ECW Triple Crown is the fact that each _organization_ (see, independant from each other) saw fit to give a wrestler a title.

 

The WCW titles that the Dudleys won was in the *WWE* and were decided by the *WWE*.

And I'll throw in another rant:

 

The whole concept of the Grand Slam is progression. Shawn Michaels was already World Champ when he won the Euro Title, and infact only won it to say he held all the titles, that shows no progression at all (cept those that have to do with the political game). Progression should go like this: Euro, IC/Tag, World. Many-a-time this has been disjointed by sloppy WWE management using titles as just a method to advance storylines rather than keeping the notion of division. This is what killed the belts (amongst a few other things). It has become so bad that I don't even recognized the Grand Slam (I used to recognize the triple crown, back when the WWE cared about such things) because it doesn't represent the journey a wrestler takes through the promotion...

Well, Smackdown is doing huge numbers with the latino audience demographic but when it comes down to it, WWE is a white mans company who will also always push homegrown talent over foreign talent.
