This might be the funniest thing that I've ever read ... for some reason, I doubt that - other than those directly effected by this case - anyone in this country has been damaged by the fall of this "hero, leader, and symbol of righteousness". I was apathetic about Bryant before this allegation, and if he's found guilty it will devolve to passionate dislike. If he's found innocent, it will remain sheer apathy. So why should any of us critisize his character because of the charge? If/when he's found guilty, I'd gladly admit I was wrong. If this happened to Michael Jordan or Tim Duncan, people would take notice, but the intense hatred would not be shining through.
