Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted July 25, 2003 From 411- WWE Considering Two Major Turns [Possible Spoiler] Posted By Widro on 07.25.03 Which main eventers could be switching? Rumors are circulating that WWE is considering turning both World Champions. WWE is thinking about turning either Brock Lesnar or Kurt Angle heel to add juice to their eventual one on one rematch, and because WWE officials feel Angle is adjusting well to being a face, they are leaning towards turning Brock Lesnar heel, as soon as Vengenace. Incredibly, there is also talk of turning HHH face down the line as well. He would turn to feud with Randy Orton. credit: 1wrestling.com While I'm all for Brock or Angle to turn heel, why the hell would Trips turn face? What would happen to Evolution? Guest Downhome Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Summerslam, Randy Orton costs HHH the title match with Goldberg, either on accident or on purpose. HHH is pissed, the next night on RAW Orton and Flair attack HHH, and HHH is a face. Someone joins Evolution maybe, whoever. Goldberg goes on to face maybe, Kane, etc... Orton gets the Evo gimmick, Flair, and the spot of Raw's top heel as well as gets to become the ringer who beats HHH for the belt. HHH gets to avoid jobbing the belt to Golberg by playing upon the hard-on that Vince has for RO by way of sweet-talking Vince into letting him job the belt to RO instead of GB, go away for the wedding, and come back as a face with the illusion that he has legitamite heat instead of "Get off my screen" heat. Not to mention that as a face, HHH can kill Kane's newly reignited heat dead in it's tracks by being the one who stops his rampage and gets to ass-fuck Chris Jericho yet again whenever he pleases.... Guest CronoT Report post Posted July 25, 2003 It's not even a question of why. HOW can they turn him face? The last time they turned him semi-face, it took Stephanie McMahon trying to defraud him into believing she was pregnant. Any attempt to try to turn Triple H face will probably only result in his opponent getting the face pops. It would probably take Rock coming back to do it. Guest Super Pissed Smark Report post Posted July 25, 2003 So Orton's going to go over every face on the RAW roster to set him up to lose to a face Triple-H? Brilliant. As usual. And Brock or Angle turning heel (again)? . Sorry, I nodded off there. What were we talking about?
Guest Goose749 Report post Posted July 25, 2003 If Trips turned face, we would still hate him. There's no way I'm going to change the way I think of him simply because he says, "Well, I'm a face now. I'm the good guy." The only way he could turn face is if there was someone who the fans hated more. I don't think simply having him be attacked by a heel would make him face. Rather, I think the fans would cheer Orton.

Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Agreed.. I don't think Orton and Flair turning on Hunter would give Orton heel heat as Downhome mentioned - it'd probably just turn him face.
Guest JHawk Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Like I said in the other thread before I realized this one was started first, don't people have to care about you before you can be turned into a face?
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted July 25, 2003 I'm not shocked Triple H wants to turn face. I don't think it's very smart, because he doesn't have a sympathetic element to his character which you need to turn face. But it makes sense I guess. There are so many heels, but hardly any (strong) faces. I don't know if Triple H should be the one turning face though.
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Well, HHH does have a book coming out in December.

On Raw the upper mid card looks like: FACES: Book RVD Goldberg HBK HEELS: HHH Jericho Flair? Orton? Who knows where Kane stands at this point. If anything right now they need another big heel other than HHH that could have even feuds with guys like Booker and RVD.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Re: HHH I'm not sure how many faces he can/has drawn money with on RAW as a heel. You may say he bured them, but its fair to say he hasn't 'clicked' with any of them (something Foley has stated recently). The only other problem with him turning is that there are no real heels for him to face. Oh dear.
David Blazenwing 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Dude. If they turn Triple H face, he DAMN WELL BETTER come back with the "metal" look from his early 2002 run (you know, Bad ass "I am the GAME!!!" Triple H, not the stupid, suit-wearing wannabe Ric Flair Triple H)
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted July 25, 2003 You gotta be shitting me here. HHH wants to turn face? It'll be like Hogan in the 80's with a champion that puts over NOBODY!!! The only difference is that Hogan was over and HHH won't be. I really hope there is little truth to this.

Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Heel HHH: rarely jobs cleanly, tries to be "cool" in interviews, berates and rips apart opponents, doesn't like to sell much for his opponents, wins almost all the time clean except sometimes he cheats to win or loses in tag matches. Face HHH: er...all of the above except he doesn't cheat? How will this work exactly?
Guest Y2DAYDAY Report post Posted July 25, 2003 If I had to guess, the belt will go from HHH to Goldberg to Orton to HHH as a face at Mania. It is looking like, barring major injuries, that the top 3 matches at Mania will be Lesnar vs Angle, HHH vs Orton in the title matches and Rock vs Goldberg in a rematch since that is the match Rock wants(and Rock books his own stuff for the most part, even more than HHH). I could see them going Mick Foley vs John Cena as well to get Cena the Mania 20 main event match he has been talking about for a year. You could finally go to Kane vs Taker again at Mania, HBK vs Chris Jericho 3, and the return of Hulk Hogan. Leaving everyone else out in the cold but what the hey. At this rate, HBK vs Jericho would be opening the show. Mania is going to be a 5 hour show this year with a halftime show or something.

Face HHH: er...all of the above except he doesn't cheat? How will this work exactly? In order for Triple H to come across as a true Face, he'd have to look weak against someone first: 1-2-3 Kid and Razor Ramon. The only way this could happen would be if Orton and Flair turned on him. Of course, then Flair and Orton would have to start kicking puppies and kittens, and scaring babies so they wouldn't become Faces themselves. The other way would be the Luger/Yokozuna Face turn. Kane is the uncontrollable monster, and Triple H would step up and stop him. It could work, but only if Triple H gets stomped a little at first, or if Kane keeps going around like a psychopath. Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted July 25, 2003 So, in order to solve the "There aren't any strong faces to challenge HHH anymore" problem, they're considering turning him face. *sigh* They're doing this just to spite us, ya know.

JR also jacks off in the announcing booth while verbally fellating HHH every three seconds, informing everyone to cheer for HHH while he acts like a heel and stuff while also burying Chris Jericho in commentary for doing the exact same evil things HHH does... Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted July 25, 2003 So Orton, who hasn't paid dues at fucking all, gets to have a ME run. Oh wait, he bloodied Dreamer backstage a couple of weeks ago, THAT explains everything.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2003 YES!!! I want Angle / Lesnar II now more than ever even if it does have to be a runner-up to the suckfest Goldberg/HHH match. With Brock turning heel, I guess we won't be seeing Lesnar Vs. McMahon, although I would like to see him still go through with it as his last act as a face. This is great, I've been waiting for him to go back to being eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil since the screwjob happened. Oh, happy days are coming. Let the path of destruction continue! Ruthless Aggression consumes the soul and beckons his return. The Legend Killer attacks again. SummerSlam.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2003 What would be nice: SummerSlam: Orton vs Michaels: Orton goes over clean, possibly "injuring" Michaels to give him some time off the screens, furthering Orton's Legend Killer moniker. Goldberg vs HHH: HHH keeps the belt by some means due to Ortons interference. After SS, Orton decides he's good enough to beat HHH, and that he could and should be World Champion. HHH agrees to give him a title shot out of respect, but insists that it doesn't come between their relationship. At the next Raw PPV: HHH vs Orton: Orton wins be cheating, totally decimating HHH, throwing out every heel move in the book. HHH goes away for a while for the wedding, and to let the fans want to see him again. Royal Rumble: Orton is still champion, HHH returns as a face and wins the Rumble. HHH goes on to win as a face at WMXX Of course, this means that HHH's year long stint with the belt is all for Orton t get a push, and it means a top level feud between HHH and Orton, but it could work...
