They talk about the think air in Colorado, since that is where VENGEANCE will be airing from this weekend. They talk about John Cena and the “sophomore curse.” Droz says his picks for the PPV are in his “2 cents” column. (8:35)-Droz hangs up. The first trivia question for Bradshaw’s book is “What was the last PPV held at the Pepsi Arena in Colorado”? 11:10- Clip from SMACKDOWN of June 12th of Big Show VS. Brock when the ring collapsed after the Superplex off the top rope. Corey from Maryland got the answer to the first trivia question. The answer was that this is the first PPV in Denver, CO. Next trivia question: Where was last year’s VENGEANCE held? Josh and Dr. Tom talk about the Triple Threat main event for VENGEANCE. 15:25-Big Show joins the show. Dr. Tom tells Show that Josh doubts he will not be ready for the match. Show calls Josh a “prick” and plays up the angry façade. Show says he hopes Angle and Lesnar are too caught up with taking each other apart. Then he will come in like a shark and take someone down for the pin and the title. He says the ring collapsing was a surprise, ‘something he didn’t expect.’ He thinks people are famous for things: ie, Andre for being large, Taker for Hell In A Cell and great matches. He thinks the ring collapsing will help him. Show wants to be the WWE champ again. (20:20)-Call from Steve, AZ. Steve asks that Jimi Hendrix used to steal riffs from other guitar players, and if Show has stolen any moves from other guys. Show says he researched all the greats and stolen from them all. He’s cites big guys like Taker, Nash, and Yokozuna. He tries to use what’s natural to him like a chokeslam and headbutts, but he tries to develop his own style. Wishes he could be a worker like Taker because he knows and can do it all and “got it A-Z.” He said in another couple of years he’ll try to set himself as a cornerstone of the industry. Says if he can do an anklelock, he would steal that too. (22:45)-Call from Corey, AL: Asks how his career has changed form WCW to WWE. Show says his name changed. Deep inside he is always The Giant. WWE is a better company to work for. The talent and competition is way better and higher. He thinks he’s starting to grow and for now he will have his eyes focused on the prize. (24:50)-Josh asks about the tour of Thailand and Japan: Competed against Brock. Had good battles. Made good money for the company. Thinks if he had a t-shirt he might have sold one since the crowds were crazy. The traveling stunk, though. (26:15)-Call from Paul, NYC: Asks about if it’s true that Show can do a moonsault from the top rope. Show says DDP was instrumental in helping him at the Power Plant at WCW. Show says that instead of a Shooting Star he was more like a Shooting Planet. He says that if he did a moonsault and missed he would put a hole through the ring. So he will keep his feet on the ground. (28:35)-Dr. Tom brings up change and cites Bradshaw cutting his hair. Show said it was a bad call to cut his. He cut it because he was eating one day and the wind kept blowing his hair in his mouth. But he said he was maturing so it was okay. (28:35)-Josh asks Show about playing basketball for Wichita State. He said he had hair like Ivan Drago from Rocky 4. (30:15-)Dr. Tom asks Show about the McMahon/Gowen match. He says Zach has a big heart but needs to go to the gym more. This will be more than a pretty match. Noble/Gunn: Noble is “scum of the pond”. With that money he inherited, “his head is bigger than A-Trains.” “Billy Gunn is no slouch.” They showed a great pic of Torrie during this talk. (34:45)-Email from Jeff, Staten Island: Where Show shops for clothes and shoes? Shows says his wife is a world class shopper, a shopaholic. His suits are hand made from Mohans in NY. Gets his casual clothes from Big Fellas in Cleveland. Josh says he shops at The Gap. Show says Josh is “the gap.” That his yearbook photo is hanging in The Gap. Show says Josh’s yearbook photo says “Most likely to wash your car.” (36:45)-Email from Curtis, Canada: Says he liked “The Showster”, and will Show ever do anything like that again. Show always has the entertainment bug under his skin. But right now he needs to be mad, angry and focused. (38:00)-Tazz calls in. Tazz predicts Show will win the Triple Threat. Show gives respect and love to Tazz. They all make fun of Josh. Tazz says Josh and Cole hold hands, walk around the pond, and eat Skittles. (42:10)-Tazz asks Show about Benoit/Guerrero. Show says there are no two men that he respects more that are “masters of the craft” like Benoit & Guerrero. ‘That will be the match that will blow everyone’s mind.’ (44:00)-APA Invitation Brawl: Tazz says Brother Love will win. They laugh. (44:50)-Tazz hangs up and tells Josh he sucks. (45:00)-Email from Phillipe from Puerto Rico. “What is it like to come crashing to mat after an F5?” Show says “Owwwwww.” He says he always feels it the next day. Show continues to make fun of Josh. Show asks Josh if he snuck into the building and if he really works for WWE. Mike from Ontario trivia question #2 winner. (48:00)-Josh says that Show has a huge match at the PPV. Show asks if he was calling him fat. Josh says no. Show says that his wife says that if she can get her arms around him, he either needs to gain weight or her boobs need to get bigger. Shows asks if Josh has seen his wife’s boobs, Josh says no, Show says, “Good answer.” Everyone laughs. Show tells Josh he would ‘erase him’ if he saw his wife’s boobs. Show then asks him why he would look past his wife’s boobs since everyone knows what Josh likes to look at. (49:30)-Show leaves the show. Trivia question #3: Who was the Big Shows opponent in a No Holds Barred match at last years VENGEANCE? (50:50)-Cena’s first PPV match VS Jericho at last years VENGEANCE. Cena counters the Walls of Jericho with a roll-up and wins the match. (51:30)-Cena joins the show. Dr. Tom asks Cena about the match against Taker. Cena says he is a veteran now and is undefeated against Taker. Cena says he is definitely serious about main-eventing WMXX. He said he called it a year ahead because he knew he’s going to do it. He says he doesn’t know what will happen in the next 8 months, but he’s looking forward to it. Dr. Tom asks if Cena has anyone watching his back because a lot can happen in 8 months. Cena says he doesn’t trust anyone. He has ‘his own flavor.’ He was paired with B2 and Rodney Mack but he is better alone. The Thailand and Japan tour is brought up. The schedule was hectic. John says Matt & Shannon got stuck an extra day because Fink made bad travel arrangements. The fans were ‘off the hook.’ They showed pics of John in a sushi restaurant making sushi rolls. This Saturday’s “Confidential” will have a segment with Cena in Japan. (58:00)-Call from Ashley from Seattle who asks about the rap at WM19. Cena thought the non-existent battle rap at WM19 was awful because no one showed up to rep their artform and music. (59:00)-Dr. Tom asks Cena about an album. John said that when he gets off the phone he is going over to his cousin “Trademark’s" house to work on the album. They have 6 or 8 tracks done. The album will be around 14 tracks long and will include a bonus DVD of all the TV freestyles. (1:00:00)-Email asks how does he come up with his freestyles. John tries to get a grasp on what he’s supposed to say and then puts his own style in it. He writes everything himself. (1:00:50)-Call from Josh, FL: After VENGEANCE what title does John want? Cena says the US Title looks good, but wants World Title especially at WM20. (1:01:50)-Josh asks about the Blue Jays game: “They were awesome, nothing but hospitable.” They game him a jersey. He loves the Red Sox but none would talk to him at the game. He got to call half an winning which was a dream. He threw out the first pitch. Thoughts on his match: he’ll be doing his thing in the biggest match of his career. Will give his all and is “repping” WWE and is taking over. (1:04:30)-John leaves show. Trivia question #3 answer is Booker T. Anthony from CA is the winner. Next week: Mick Foley guest host will guest host with Josh while Dr. Tom goes to OVW. Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Wishes he could be a worker like Taker because he knows and can do it all and “got it A-Z.” This seems to be the trend now a days, praising Undertaker. Edge does it a lot in his columns too.

Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Of course. Praising Taker is like rubbing the Buddahs belly... only Bradshaw doesn't rape you if you don't do the latter.

Vince is large and will cheat to win. Zach sure as hell wouldn't see Big Show down there. Why on earth is Big Show telling people THEy need to go to the gym. Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted July 26, 2003 I never thought of it THAT way before! *thinks about it that way* *thinks about this quote* "Wishes he could be a worker like Taker because he knows and can do it all and “got it A-Z.”" *remembers Taker talking about working stiff on Big Show in the ring to smarten him up* *thinks some more* Mmm... No.
boobshaw 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2003 Josh asks about Steph/Sable. Steph has a ‘fiery temper’, two crazy family members. Sable has been WWE champ, good athlete, and good in the ring. This will be more than a pretty match. Although it is something I would like to burn out of my memory... No commentators have yet to mention that Steph is also a former Women's Champ. This is a match of former champions.
Guest Shanghai Kid Report post Posted July 26, 2003 Watching the show, a few things stand out. Josh is a horrilble host. He stumbles over his lines, asks the wrong questions, and is not funny at all. Dr. Pritch is cool as hell. John Cena is extra cool, and seems like it would be cool as hell to hang out him. He's on a mission to main event WM 20, we can only hope so. Byte this as a whole, is too long, and because of it sucks. It should be a 20 min/half an hour show, not a damn hour/hour and a half show full with kayfabe talk from Droz and Taz. No. Jesus Christ, you're not the Big Show. You don't know what he thinks or doesn't think, means or doesn't mean. Just because you aren't too keen on Taker, doesn't mean when others praise him they are lying.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 26, 2003 If Cena Main Events WM 20, I'll eat my computer. Think about it... Less then a Year ago did we actually Buy Lesnar to be Head Lining Mania? Did we think Jericho would as the HEEL for Mania? I honestly would NOT be shocked to see John Cena in the Mania Main event...
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted July 26, 2003 So it must be takers hard work and ***** matches over the years that inspire everyone to put Taker at the top of their list when discussing ANYTHING, not his position in the locker room or anything... And when they say Steph deserves her writing and on-screen position, they mean that too!
