Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 27, 2003 The whole lighttubes thing has been done to death. Were there any big spots like last years? like Mondo's Mondodriver off the truck or a weedwacker shot to the gut
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted July 27, 2003 Zandig hit the Mother F'N Bomb off of the Ryder truck, though a log cabin and POH of tables, non-flaming I believe. No powertools used this year, however.

Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted July 27, 2003 How the FUCK are they not dead? The ultraviolent gods were watching out for them today.
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted July 27, 2003 HOT NEWZ~!!!>@?>@?#>@#?> The reason for the ant-climatic finish to the finals is that Nick Mondo suffered a puncture wound in his back from the big table bump. It was describe as a gunshot type wound and medics were encouraging him not to work the finals and to go to the emergency room instead. He’ll most likely end up going to the emergency room but Mondo toughed it out and worked the main event. Mondo is not of this planet.
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted July 27, 2003 From what I heard, Mondo won't take painkiller, either. He's gonna be dead before he's 30.

Guest Sturgis Report post Posted July 27, 2003 This show WAY better than last years. If you remember the first round had semi-violent matches, not this year and FBTW was much better(Chicken with thumbtacks, boxing glove with tacks, BIG SCREEN TV) Here's my day at TOD2 Got there at two(tix said 3 Fake You TV said 4 show started at 5) Stayed in bar(hot bartender) and some wrestlers talked to people like it was nothing(Sonjay Dutt(and his girlfriend is hot), Ruckus, Rebel, Matthews, Corp. Robinson, Ian, Necro) at 4:30 the doors opened(didn't matter where you sit(except front row)) argued with IWA fans the whole night, hell the Gage-Rotten match had CZW fans and IWA fans out chanting each other. The SMV was FULL of tapes while the T-Shirt stand was kinda bare. Well worth the $40 spent on tickets, and diffently going next year. NEXT MONTH: Ian Rotten vs. Zandig, Exploding Cage Match
Chunk 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2003 Sounds like a good show if your intoyour death matches. argued with IWA fans the whole night How many made the trip? I read elsewhere that it was only about 10. What was the overall crowd size approx? I also heard that the tape is availble to order allready! Thats amazing work if it is. And does anyone else have any more news on the Mondo injury! 3 broken bones and a puncture wound, give that man a pat on the back!
Guest Jesse Report post Posted July 27, 2003 Here's the results as posted by Wrestlingobserver- --CZW from yesterday in Dover, DE drew a sellout of 600+ for Tournament of Death II: Zandig b Nate Webb in a pane of glass death match, Nick Mondo b J.C. Bailey in a light tubes match, Necro Butcher b Corporal Robinson with barbed wire bat, water cooler of broken glass, a wiffle ball bat with nails and a staple gun, Ian Rotten b Nick Gage in a barbed wire board and lube table table match, Trent Acid b Z-Barr, Ian Knoxx won over Chris Cash, Rick Feinberg, Cory Kastle, Niles Young and Jude, Johnny Kashmere b Nick Berk, Ian Rotten b Necro Butcher in fans bring weapons match, Mondo b Zandig in a 2/3 fall log cabin death match (to win you have to send someone through a log cabin of light tubes twice, B-Boy & Messiah b Sonjay Dutt & Ruckus, Mondo b Rotten in a 200 light tubes barbed wire ropes match. I got a few e-mails from people after the show that hated it with unbridled passion. (thanks to Bob Magee) I just have one question. What the hell is a "barbed wire board and lube table table match"? Chunk 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2003 I just have one question. What the hell is a "barbed wire board and lube table table match"? Haven't you heard of it? It's the new ultimate in Ultraviolent. Last year they had the weed whacker, this year they went one better with the "barbed wire board and lube table table match"! You have to see it to belive it!
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted July 28, 2003 It was a barbed wire board and lighttube table. The lube will either be used next week at KODM or in next years TOD. As for people hating it with an "unbridled passion," I'm guessing it's people who a) didn't know what they were getting themselves into, or b) people who just wanna stir shit up. General opinion after the show had this slightly better then TOD1, though I'll be able to know better myself in a couple weeks. I know, live > tape, but it's the best I can do. I'm going to TOD3 even if I have to quit my job/internship/both.
JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2003 That M F'n Bomb off the rope by John Zandig on Nick Mondo was awesome, but they need to tone some of that stuff down if they want to have a long career in wrestling.
