Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 8, 2002 The Bulldog paid money to leave? I didn't know that. He ended up leaving and got hurt by the "trap door".
Guest Midnight Express83 Report post Posted February 8, 2002 Bret vs Shawn was a shoot. Hogan vs Jarrett was a shoot. They had happened before and will keep happinging through time. It wasn't the first, won't be the last, and we all know that. please let this topic die. Its just fuel for the WWF/smark bashing people.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 8, 2002 The work/shoot debate just shows how big the impact of Montrel (Sp?) was for smarks & the WWF. The fact people still wonder if it was a work or shoot 4 years after it happened is amazing.
Guest Big Poppa Popick Report post Posted February 8, 2002 after reviewing the match itself, im still lead to believe that bret hart legimately did not know that was the ending vince had planned therefore, it was a shoot, no matter what anyone else mightve know, because the focal point (bret) did not know
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 8, 2002 Big Poppa just said what I wanted to say. If Bret didn't know it was a shoot. And everything else is heresay. Was Shawn in on it? Doesn't matter. Did Vince plot it out well in advance? Doesn't matter. Did the whole roster get told about it? Doesn't matter. If Bret didn't know it was a shoot. I don't know how anyone could think that it was a work, given that fact.
