Nice gusher though, Vince. EDIT: Once I posted I figured I'd be safe and add spoiler tags. Is that right? Do I need to? I can't believe a one legged wrestler is being criticized for his moveset. The novelty wore off after the first match. We're left with an obnoxious as all hell character dominating a show that he's no where near over enough (And gettung less over-as a face, anyway-by the show)-to dominate with his drop kick and moonsault. Billy Gunn ** It was high energy but too much nonsense APA stuff was mildly humorous. I marked for Brother Love & Doink. No star ratings for a non-match. Benjamin/Haas Vs. Kidman/Mysterio **3/4 A lot better than I thought it would be. Sable Vs. Steph 1/2* Not much of a catfight, but I don't think anyone expected it to be. I thought it may have been better than that however. A-Train. *blah* John Cena Vs. The Undertaker **1/2 A lot better than expected. Zack Gowen Vs. Vince * It was better than Sable/Steph just because of Vince's juicing. Damn, that was vicious. I hate fucking Zack and his sickening hobble. Brock Lesnar Vs. Big Show Vs. Kurt Angle **1/4 I'm glad Angle won. Too many finisher spots for my liking. Brock sucks at blading. Big Show sucks at jumping. Still, best PPV of the year. Better than Wrestlemania in my opinion. Better than Royal Rumble. Obviously better than Badd Blood. I give Angle/Benoit from RR ****, and nothing on this card reached that high, but that card was better overall. At least to me. Not to be a jerk, and it IS your opinion but...WHAT THE FUCK?! All Your Match ratings were given almost *+ higher by everyone else, except for the Gunn/Noble match and Vince/Gowen. Guest slabinskia Report post Posted July 28, 2003 benoit-eddy-****1/4 this was a great match and i would give another 1/4 without the rhyno finish. gunn-knoble-** ok match barroom brawl-1/4* i didnt like this at all wgtt-rey/kidman-**** great tag match sable-steph-1/2* i didnt care about this to start with taker-cena-*** this was very good i thought.id give more if cena went over. vince-gowen-** i don't see whats special about this match.1/2* is for vince's blade job. angle-show-lesnar-***3/4 as good as a big show match will be.very good main event. overall-great show.even better considering how bad the last 3 were.this proves once and for all smackdown is better than raw but we already knew that. Should we just accept that he's a mediocre wrestler then just because he's got 1 leg? Fuck that. Vince spends the whole time working the leg, but when Zach makes the comeback he hops around on it like normal because he HAS to. I don't see any way to work around the leg. Keep him in Cruiser spotfests if you must use him, but any match with psych involved is going to be a joke with him, because of his inability to sell the leg AND do his moves. It's like RVD x 10. he could make his comeback using only handspring moves, thus not having to use the leg. it would be the greatest comeback ever. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

APA Inventainal **(Fun Factor) Vince Vs Zack *1/2 (Vince cant carry a crusier but nice blade job) 3 Way Dance for Smackdown Brand World Title ****1/2 (Angle wins- Brock cant beat the Big Show and the Big Show has improved big time) This PPV was better than Bad Blood. Bar Room Brawl - DUD - Bad Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin v. Rey Mysterio & Billy Kidman - ****1/2 - Match of the FN night Sable v. Stephanie - *1/4 - This was okay for some fun I guess Undertaker v. John Cena - ***3/4 - Great match, Cena should have won though Vince McMahon v. Zach Gowen - *** - This was really good IMO. Brock Lesnar v. Kurt Angle v. Big Show - ****1/4 - An amazing world title match with the right guy winning.
