Why was Nash messing up Jericho a good thing?

 

Why would a face getting a massive beatdown on the heel put any heat on a match they might have?

Who cares about heat when Nash is fucking somebody up?

Because Nash was so slow and weak that Jericho was doing most of the work in that beat down...bumping like crazy and stumbling around.

 

I don't care about seeing Nash beat a guy down for 10 minutes when he can barely move. Even this weird crowd went silent for it.

You have your opinion and that's cool. But the match wasn't silent. The crowd was on their feet until the end. I saw that with my own eyes.
