Guest Goose749 Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Next McMahon angle: he declares himself Intergender Champion and beats all the women on the roster. Or maybe Austin could do that... Nah. That *honor* should go to Billy Gunn. He deserves it. (I actually thought of this during the PPV. Billy Gunn moving to Raw and winning the Women's Champ.)
Guest Anglesault Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 . And what if someone does lose to Gowen, how freaking bad do they look now? They would look bad losing to a guy with one leg anyway. I'm trying to figure out internally if I have more of a problem with the one leg or the fact that Zach has less muscle definition than Sable. I saw that last week when she was wearing her see-through top. Sable's got abs! Zach, er....Doesn't.
LooseCannon25 Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 First of all.............that dude that DX brought in too parody Owen Hart from the NAtion...what was his name? Jason Sensation? Yeah him, he has more friggin muscle definition than Zach Gowan. Also, Vince McMahon is much more believable as a wrestler than Gowan.......whether you like it or not whoever Gowan beats cleanly gets instantly destroyed in their career.
Lil' Bitch Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 I was kinda hoping Vince was going to beat down Zack with his own fake leg.
Guest Prototype450 Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 that would've been one of the funniest things I could have ever seen in my life.
J. Hungerford Smith Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 Gowen's WWE tenure is doomed from the start anyways. You have to think, if he has two legs, he doesn't have a job because he lacks size and a marketable look. And since he has only one leg, all of his matches and storylines will be based upon that. I give him 6 months max, and more likely even less before he's off TV for good.
Guest Dmann2000 Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 Also, this is just me, but I was wondering. Does anyone else think it's possible that Zach was booked to win the match before he made a gigantic hole in the side of Vince's head. Even if it wasn't his fault, I could totally see Vince getting pissed off and changing the finish. I don't know. but I will say that that was one of the sickest things I've seen, once the chair hit his head the blood started going, and apparently it's taken something out of Vince cause it sounds like he's tired backstage.
Guest Dmann2000 Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 Still, he might end up being a referee or an interviewer.
Guest Brian Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 I can't imagine him, in all seriousness, lasting too long to begin with. He's got one knee and a frail body in a business where people get their knees ground into pulp.
Guest Dmann2000 Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 Everyone remember, Gowen was signed (I think) when Heyman was still writing Smackdown. Maybe Heyman intended to build him up as some kind of bad ass and not a sympathy peice. I dunno, but its something to think about. A one legged heel, that would rule. If by "rule" you mean "suck." Zach has had him moment in the sun. He's lived his dream. Now get the fuck off my tv because you make me sick and you can't suspend my belief. Hey, don't blame Zach for wanting to be a wrestler, everyone should have such passion, even if it is misplaced.
Guest Goose749 Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 Still, he might end up being a referee or an interviewer. taking back his place behind the announcer's desk, maybe? I hate Michael Cole, but could Vince still pull it off?
