Guest bort Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 i think angle will have a short fued with the big show, cuz show can argue that he was never pinned in the match, brock hopefully will turn heel slowly, eddie vs maybe Matt hardy, rhyno vs benoit, Taker vs Cena .....brock will maybe form a group with rhyno and heyman, i cant see who brock will face at SS so maybe it will be Vince, i can see A-Train gettin a push cuz of his involment in last nights PPV...brock vs A-train??

That's exactly what I thought. Now everything I thought was going to happen got all fucked up. Can't wait for Angle / Lesnar II.
iggymcfly Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 I thought Cena losing last night would be enough to dispel the stupid rumors of Brock vs. McMahon at Summerslam. The obvious main event is Brock vs. Angle. Think about it. Why would they have Angle pin Lesnar cleanly in the match? To make Lesnar snap and turn heel so that we have a face/heel matchup when the two face off at Summerslam. I'm not sure where Taker, Cena, and Big Show go from here, (throwaway tag match maybe?), but the main event is obviously Angle vs. Brock. Anyone who thinks that Brock/McMahon and Angle/Big Show are feasible main events for Summerslam doesn't understand the wrestling business very well.

I spent the two days before the PPV complaining about how the WWE always curtain jerks with a title match in the "What's wrong with the WWE" thread or whatever the thread was called. Low & behold at the PPV, what's the first match? A title match of a newly reinstated title that needs to regain an image. So, of course, you jerk with it and have it involve a run-in and comedy. Big problem.

It would be retarded to be sure, along with Vince/Lesnar on the same card. Dare I say I'd like to see Eddie get the title from Angle at some point? I know he has the US already, but he can drop that to Benoit at some point.
