Guest JericholicEdgeHead Report post Posted July 29, 2003 By the way things are going I wouldn't be suprised if Vince has thought of these as the top matches: Vince McMahon vs. Brock Lesnar Shane McMahon vs. Kane Stephanie McMahon & Zach Gowen vs. Sable & A-Train And the rest of the card excpet for HHH vs. Goldeberg and Angle's match will be thrown together with a poor buildup at the last minute a week before the show. Just can't get enough of those McMahon's huh!!
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted July 29, 2003 I originally thought McMahon-Lesnar would be on PPV too, but now they want to do it at the SmackDown taping in Canada because of Vince's heat up there. It will be interesting seeing Vinnie work two matches within two weeks.

I'm starting to get the vibe that with a Lesnar heel turn, he's going to become a McMahon lackey, rather than bring back Heyman or do the proposed stable with Cena or TWGTT. That said, I think the "match" will be where Brock turns on Angle (like when Shane challenged DDP only to turn on Undertaker) and sets up Summerslam.
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted July 29, 2003 That's also what I started thinking while writing that post. I hope that isn't the case because I'd like to see Heyman in a big role.
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted July 29, 2003 Actually, come to think of it, Angle was in this scenario before. Remember when Vince challenged Angle on RAW, only to serve as a swerve and beatdown on Mick Foley? So they're most likely going to rehash the angle with 2 out of the 3 guys involved. Guest The Decadent Slacker Report post Posted July 29, 2003 Jericho/Nash won't be good. Jericho isn't THAT good. Jericho has carried both HOGAN and GOLDBERG to their best WWE matches and he's not THAT good? Well, i'd give Angle the nod for Hogan's "best" effort recently. But to each there own. But keep in mind Hogan & Goldie can actually move around without wincing in pain. Sure, Hogan is a wreck, but his legs aren't nearly as bunged up as Nash's. Goldberg is an actual athelete-still a fucking awful worker-but has the ability to keep up with someone like Jericho from a stamina point. Nash is in his mid-late 40s, has the leg strength of a sperm, & isn't carryable by man nor beast due to it. I mean, Jericho is the hardest working guy on RAW, & in the top 5 in the company, but damn...if this breaks ** then I will be the first to rejoice in Jericho being the best worker on the roster (i've always liked him better than Benoit anyway). But then again that's the beauty of opinion.
