Well Vince already hates Ultimo

From the Torch apparently...

We have more information on Ultimo Dragon in WWE. Apparently, Vince McMahon has already grown sour on the superstar and does not approve of his style. Thus, the originally planned Rey Mysterio vs. Ultimo Dragon match for SummerSlam is off and the current plan is to pair Rey Mysterio against Billy Kidman for the Cruiserweight Title."

Nothing else needs to be said. Well except :Good Fucking God.

We've been saying that since day one.

I've also said the same thing about Paul London when he comes to WWE: He'll be jobbing to A-Train on Velocity along with Spanky and Ultimo Dragon in 3 separate weeks. Hell, WWE might just make it a 3 on 1 handicap match with A-Train going over in that match too.

Oh wow, what a big surprise. I'm surprised Mysterio is still getting the "push" he is.

Did Vince not know who Ultimo Freakin' Dragon was before he signed him? Come on what did he expect from the guy?

Mysterio got over with the crowd after he came in during the Heyman-booked Smackdown era, and even though Rey's jobbed to Big Show and A-Train earlier this year, Vince probably figures it's too late to depush him right now because he's over with the crowd, whereas someone like Ultimo came in post-Heyman-booked Smackdown era and Vince wants to kill his push as soon as possible unfortunately. Then again, RVD became REALLY over with the crowd back in 2001 and look at what WWE did to him after several months(particularly what happened this year with him in an odd tag team with Kane).

hell dont mind still hashing this out.

We all should have saw this coming when we read the reports of his work on the houseshows before his debut.

there was a opinion in the other thread that Vince wants to squash his starpower so TNA wouldn't be interested in him..

there is something faulty in that though

unlike stateside wrestlers whom get their names in WWF,WCW, ECW and some indis that the WWE tend to grab as well as TNA... Ultimo isn't trying to get state side exposure that way. It isn't life or death to him what happens in the states. Ultimo is still a legend in Japan where the majority of his serious wrestling time is at. Hell Toryumon...

Vince screws with him to much, he'll simply go home. All Ultimo ever wanted was to work on a WM at MSG. they got him for a 3 year contract...let him work and not bitch about the shit your FORCING him to do because you cut his moveset.

The reason Vince doesn't like Ultimo is because he doesn't wrestle realistic enough and he is not stiff?(according to1wrestling.com)

RVD does all those things but he gets buried too, let this company rot in hell.

What I don't get is why Vince signs someone, but then refuses to use them in a way that could feasibly make up for the amount of money that is being spent on them.

I second the argument about Vince not knowing who Ultimo was. Seriously, it's Ultimo Dragon, why bother signing him if you think he isn't any good or just plain don't like him? WWE doesn't need any more worthless talent on Velocity and Heat, who all actually have more talent than countless people on the A-shows.

You knew who he was, you knew what he did, what the hell did you want from him?

And yes, we all saw this coming, but it doesn't make it any less sickening for Vince to hire a great wrestler, promote him then give him ZERO real matches on SD. By real I mean over 5 mins and actually meaning something, with the end not being a complete certainty. Ie. longer than the Guerrero match and worth more than his debut.

"There are people on the internet who'll criticize us no matter what we do. I don't read them and I won't let any of our writers read them. I mean, if we brought in Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ for God's sake, and immediately jobbed him to Albert because he just couldn't work the WWE style, they'd criticize us for that too. Un-fucking-believable."
