WWE 2003 Diary

Recommended Posts

Guest JMA

This is my first diary, so be gentle.

Synopsis

World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. (WWE) has been entrusted to me. My name is Adam Ryland. That's right, I'm the new Director of Operations for WWE. Cool, huh? Anyway, I've decided to take this slowly. The first thing I did was create a website for the fans who wanted to know what was REALLY going on in WWE. I hope this works out. Until next time.

Some advice: HHH is still very useful if just depushed a tad. Don't go all pissy just because he buried a wrestler in real life... he can help you here.

Actually, he's a bit of an ass as he has the creative control clause.

But he's over enough to make up for it. When you can job him out, it's a big help.

No problem. You get this diary a going and we'll definitely give it a read.

Raw

Booker T is walking backstage, when he meets Triple H. They trade insults, get in each others faces,

but eventually walk off without coming to blows.

Lance Storm vs Garrison Cade : Kick from Garrison Cade to the leg. Storm walks into a high dropkick

from Garrison Cade. Driven DDT by Garrison Cade. The ring shook violently, instantly making it better

at selling than some of the current roster. Legsweep out of Nowhere. Where is Nowhere, and why do

moves keep coming out of there? Does it have a factory? Cade walks into a trip. Storm hits a

dropkick on Garrison Cade. Storm crushes Cade with a big legdrop. Cover for a two count.

Storm walks into a trip. Super frankensteiner on Storm, who hit hard. Hooks the leg for a two count.

Storm walks into a face crusher variation. Pin : 1 - 2 - 2.9999999. Storm ducks a wild right hand.

Belly to belly suplex by Storm. Garrison Cade pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Garrison Cade hits

a rolling kick on Storm. Lance Storm is in trouble. Here it comes - Super Kick. 1....2...3, it's finished.

Garrison Cade slides out of the ring to the floor, then turns and leaves through the crowd. He's happy

to have the win, and evidently isn't going to hang around for Storm to get some payback. Almost

a ** match, but not quite - *1\2 rating.

Lance Storm lost overness from this match.

Mark Jindrak is in the ring. Out from the back come Evolution, who hit the ring. Triple H takes

a microphone and offers Mark Jindrak a spot in the group. Jindrak declines the offer, and on

the order of HHH, Evolution attack and leave Mark Jindrak down on the mat.

Mark Jindrak debuted his new gimmick, it got a positive response. Triple H lost overness from

this segment.

Al Snow vs Rosey : Weak headbutt on Snow by Rosey. Uninspiring brawling from Rosey. Al Snow

takes a right hand to the temple from Rosey. Running clothesline from Rosey, sloppily done. Al Snow

ducks a clothesline attempt. Rosey gets caught with a short powerbomb from Snow. Rosey takes

a quick lariat. Hooks the leg for a two count. Rosey kicks Al Snow in the gut to reverse the

momentum. Big clothesline from Rosey. Hooks the leg for a two count. Sloppy tornado punch from

Rosey, Snow barely got hit. Pin, but Snow is out just before the three count. Al Snow comes up

with a right hand out of nowhere. Rosey takes a back suplex. Rosey ducks a wild right hand.

Rosey slams Al Snow down. Big John Studd would be proud, no doubt. Chris Nowinski comes

running down the aisle with a chair! Rosey whips Al Snow into the ropes. Nowinski jumps onto the

apron with the chair! Collision between Nowinski, Snow, and the chair! Al Snow staggers back into

a roll up! 1...2...3! It's over! Chris Nowinski obviously hasn't finished his attack yet! Al Snow stands up

...Double Underhook DDT!!! That shook the ring. Chris Nowinski eventually leaves, having caused

enough damage. **1\2 rating for a decent contest.

Rosey gained overness from this match.

Rico comes out, and announces that he has decided that it is time that he had a manager. Out from

the back comes Miss Jackie, apparently making her debut as the new manager of Rico.

Rico gained overness from this segment. Miss Jackie gained overness from this segment.

Rob Van Dam vs D-Von Dudley : D-Von walks into a high dropkick from Rob Van Dam. Kick from

Rob Van Dam to the leg. Hard back suplex on D-Von. Anyone remember when that was Shawn

Michaels's finisher? RVD uses a basement dropkick to the knee. D-Von counters an arm wringer

with an elbow to the side of the head. D-Von Dudley hits a right hand on Rob Van Dam. D-Von

Dudley hits a bulldog off the ropes. Cover for a two count. RVD counters an avalanche with a raised

foot to the face. Flying reverse elbow by Rob Van Dam. Hooks the leg for a two count. Diamond

Dust from Rob Van Dam, D-Von is out. Hooks the leg for a close fall. D-Von drops out the back of a

Rob Van Dam bodyslam attempt. D-Von Dudley hits a right hand on Rob Van Dam. Rob Van Dam

comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Spin kick by Rob Van Dam to the face. Buh Buh Ray

Dudley comes running down the aisle with a chair! D-Von goes to irish whip Rob Van Dam into the

ropes. Buh Buh prepares to swing the chair...but Rob Van Dam reverses! Buh Buh accidentally

smacks D-Von with a chair to the back! Rob Van Dam floors D-Von Dudley...and climbs the

turnbuckles. Off the top - Five Star Frog Splash, forget about it. 1....2...3! Dudley Boyz are beating

down on Rob Van Dam! The music of Kane hits, and he comes running down the

aisle into the ring. D-Von and Buh Buh bail out of the ring, leaving Rob Van Dam down in the ring.

Kane may have saved Rob Van Dam from a brutal beating. This gets a **3\4 rating.

Perfectly Acceptable Wrestling.

Kane debuted his new gimmick, it got a positive response.

Stacy Keibler is backstage with Test. Stacy Keibler was on hype duty tonight, this time for a match

between Test and Batista.

Test gained overness from this segment.

Test vs Batista : Bodyslam by Batista. Batista hits a bulldog off the ropes. There's a two count on the

pin. Batista gets taken down out of nowhere. Batista receives some punishment. Running knee lift

from Test. Cover for a two count. Death valley driver by Test, Batista got planted.

Pin : 1 - 2 - 2.9999999. Back elbow connects, Batista staggers backward. Batista avoids a Test

avalanche. Massive backbreaker, Test got planted. Early reports indicate that the back was *not*

actually broken, so the move's name should actually be backhurter. There's a two count on the pin.

Powerbomb on Test. Hooks the leg for a close fall. Batista with a spinning neckbreaker on Test.

Test gets slammed. Test kicks Batista in the gut to reverse the momentum. Running knee lift from

Test. Lifting DDT by Test, looked good. Batista slides out and grabs a chair! Test goes to climb out

of the ring...and takes a chair to the head! The referee has no hesitation in calling for the bell!

Disqualification. The fight has started up again! Test attacks Batista, and they brawl all around

ringside, then into the crowd! They eventually disappear backstage, still fighting. I'll give it a **1\2

rating.

Chris Jericho is in the ring, when Steve Austin comes out onto the stage. They trade insults back

and forth, building toward a match between the two.

Shane Helms is backstage. He wanted to rip into Christian. That's a good way to build up to an

eventual match.

Shane Helms debuted his new gimmick (Hero).

Shane Helms vs Christian : Second rope flying axe handle, Christian goes down. Helms crushes

Christian with a big legdrop. Hooks the leg for a two count. Christian counters an arm wringer with

an elbow to the side of the head. Spinning back kick from Christian. Christian uses a basement dropkick to the knee. Hooks the leg for a two count. Helms walks into a face crusher variation. Hooks the leg for a close fall. Christian uses a basement dropkick to the knee. Shane Helms takes the advantage after a i-block-your-punch-you-don't-block-mine routine. Flying cross body off the top rope! I'll give a 0.8 on the Steamboat scale for that effort. There's a two count on the pin. Back heel kick off the second rope, Christian goes down. Cover, but there's a last second kick-out. Legsweep out of Nowhere. Where is Nowhere, and why do moves keep coming out of there? Does it have a factory? Helms hits a wicked chop that echoes through the building. Helms drops an elbow...but misses. Fate can be so cruel. Second rope flying axe handle, Helms goes down. Diamond Dust from Christian, Helms is out. Christian whips Helms into the turnbuckles...and predictably, the referee gets sandwiched. Shane Helms floors Christian, then signals for the Shining Black Wizard. Meanwhile, Christian has something in his hands. Helms

comes over...and gets nailed with a set of brass knuckles! The referee wakes up to see the pinfall:

1....2....3! It's over. Christian leaves the ring and heads off down the aisle at speed. Christian has

the victory, and isn't hanging around for Shane Helms to look for revenge. Almost wandered into ***

match territory, but there was too much that dragged it down so it only gets a **3\4 rating.

Christian debuted his new gimmick (Arrogant).

I decided not to do a detailed synopsis this time. I still have a lot to learn about creating a diary. BTW, I also had to release Crash. I accidently released Steven Richards as well. I wanted to terminate his contract and re-hire him as a wrestler rather than a manager. But NWATNA signed him to a long contract and I couldn't get him.

I knew I forgot something. It was aired August 4th. Maybe I'll get better at this as I go along.
