Ok:

-can't share movies on Kazaa w/ people who asked me to put them up

-sharing enabled

-keywords in place

-files in correct Shared Folder

-MPEG format, play right in Kazaa Lite

-people say nothing comes up when they search

-might not be on same supernode (??) Tried jumping, didn't work.

-any tips?

Thanks-Jim

Has your ISP banned uploading?

I don't think so...I have Comcast and I can upload to GeoCities. Or is that a totally different deal?

You might have better luck if you change artist to your name and have them search for it but still it is near impossible to do what you want.

You would have better luck at using WinMX at direct sharing with friends, just have them meet you at a chatroom and have them browse your files.

Impossible in what way? How does everyone else share files?

Turn on "Act as a Supernode" and try that.

It's still pretty difficult to do, but it could work. Maybe.

Ok, why is it difficult? Why? Is it something that I'm doing wrong that's making it "pretty difficult?"

No, it's just that there are so many people and shit, it makes almost impossible to find a file that's exclusively on one person's computer.
