Best Way to Meet Wrestlers

Recommended Posts

Guest Slapnuts00

I dont think I've ever met any wrestlers. I lucked into floor seats for RAW earlier this year and got to shake hands with Lillian and small talk with her.

Also after Backlash 2000 we left late and in the parking garage we saw JR, Pat Patterson and I think Finkle getting into their car so we yelled over "Hi JR" and he waved.

I'd say get an eight-ball and a couple of hookers and you'll meet plenty of wrestlers.

 Brilliant!

Because it was a couple of dudes chanting the You Screw Bret chant with us, and it was this other dude that was chanting Y2J. you sound like you came to the Raw that was in Mobile. Did you?

No, I'm not even anywhere remotely close to the state of Alabama. However, a buddy of mine lives not too far away from Mobile and went to that RAW (if you're refering to the broadcast where Ric Flair sucker punched Shawn Michaels in the handicapped main event match.)

By the way, since we're on the topic of meeting wrestlers, I gotta sneak down the rows of the next shows I go to. Great camera pics lie ahead. ^_^

Go there early in the afternoon to the parking lots. They have trucks with WWE written on them. They won't let you go inside the gates though. The wrestles will come to you and sign autographs and take pictures. But they won't come outside the gates. After the show, go to the same parking lot and they will come out of the building to go to their hotels. When I went to Raw Goldberg was out there for the longest. Thats were my brother cussed out Earl Habner for screwing Bret Hart and I got my Bret Hart shirt signed by Earl Habner. That shit was so funny.

I remember that. Earl Hebner was so damn mad, he was about to assault your brother. He was mad at me too, cuz I joined y'all in the chant. Nonetheless, it was still fun. :headbang:

For the house show I'm going to in August. I don't have the patience to stand in a parking lot, so I'll drive to the Hooters down the block after the show. See if I get lucky and run into someone.

If you want to meet Goldberg just bring an anti-Goldberg sign. He can't resist confronting those people.

Yeah..We wanna know why SHE and not HHH had the belt?

Although I'm sure Lillian is the belt holder transporter for WWE as well...just like Fink was.

Definitely come early--very early.

Afterwards some wrestlers might stay, but the SD taping I was at last supposedly Torrie was going to be staying for a brief bit--so obviously I passed on that opportunity.

Hotel worked for me. My friends and I were just kidding around, ending up driving in downtown to look around and found a group of people around the hotel on the Friday before Mania. We hung around for 20 minutes, saw D-Von, Buh-Buh was an ass, talked to Orton, and Cena rapped and battled for the crowd.

Bubba was such a brat today at the hotel in Melbourne. He was swearing at people who asked nicely for autographs.

After a house show in May my friend caught Rikishi at a strip club so you might want to try that.

As for this... well, kidnap CC, bind her wrist to yours and then meet the wrestlers. Get her and a wrestler in a picture with you. That'd be sweet.

See, don't kidnap C.C., just try a cheap pick up line like...............Hey, did you know I run the Hart Family Dungeon now? or Oh, yea I swear Edge is my cousin! I think that should suffice....

In the spring of '99, I saw Big Show driving his motorcycle in Orlando one time past that Disney-themed hotel my famil was staying at. Later, when I was waiting in line at some restaraunt at Disney World, some really old guy with white hair told me he's seen Big Show riding his bike, and the hot redhead he was with started cackling. I was only like twelve at the time, and am still yet to make sense of all this.

Actually, on another board I was on before, a guy tried to hit on me by saying Edge was his cousin. The sad thing? He didn't even know what I looked like or anything.

LOL, Earl arrived and was signing stuff / taking pics with his bro, Dave (with whom he arrived along with Charles). As Earl was entering the building... (Yes, I remember this incident very well and took much pride in it)

Me: Hey Earl!

Earl: Yeah?

Me: YOU SCREWED BRET!

Earl: SHUT UP!!!

Also when the show ended, Earl was being carried by some other referee backstage because he got "hurt" in the HHH / Nash match. I was along the steel corridors (the ones ECW used) and I shouted You Screwed Bret again as he passed by. He just shook his head.

That was cool man.

Kudos to you.
