My count: 7864, which is the longest match I've written in quite a while.  Woohah!

Well, after I broke the match down and layed out the order of the spots and such, I estimated it might clock in at 6500 to 7000 words.

 

Final count?  9,726.  It got a little out of conteol, but hopefully in a good way.
