Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 The WWF advertises this crap like it's a godsend. Has anyone ever used it? And there aren't any, uh, "sexually oriented" side effects are there?
Guest Shaved Bear Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 well they dont ruin you sexually, but my bro took them and he got really really agressive all the time, and my uncle took it and it damged his kidneys ...so i guess it isnt a godsend
Guest Benchman Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 I'm english, so indulge me: what the fuck is it?
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 Why, it's "the fastest way to lose weight AND gives you a turbo boost of energy" OF COURSE it works, and is entirely safe too... Remember the commercial Triple H was in where he just popped out of a boy's high school lockeroom? lol
Guest areacode212 Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 And don't even think of taking some of that Xenastuff or the Metabowhatever. Stacker 2 is a weight-loss product that gets advertised on every WWF show here in the States. The commercials have featured appearances by WWF wrestlers like Trish, Tazz, Big Show (the ironies are running wild), and Kane (who had the best ones, where some fat moron would taunt Kane, who would then lunge at the guy, who started to run--then the picture would freeze and the announcer would say something like, "This is a stupid way to lose weight. Use Stacker 2 instead").
Guest buffybeast Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 Ok, I've never tried Stacker 2. But have tried Metabolife, Hydroxcut, and Xenedrine. Stacker 2 as well as other fat burners work by raising your heart rate, thereby raising your body temp, and in turn supposedly speeding up your metabolism. If you recall the early episodes of Tough Enough 2, Aaron damn near died after taking Ripped Fuel, and ephedrine based supplement which works the same as Stacker 2. Generally speaking most health professionals steer away from advocating these types of supplements due to the risk of heart damage. And most people I've talked to say they do not work.
Guest Karnage Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 I know its not a weight loss product but does anyone remember ICO PRO?
Guest Kramerica Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 Theyre all caffiene pills with additives. That is basically it. They make you really hot and you burn weight, literally. This is very, very unsafe. Because, ofcourse, when working out your body temp and heart rate naturally go up and this brings it up real friggen high. This stuff and all the stuff like it and all fucking legal steriod replacements are evil too! And if you say anything Chuck, you will die.
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 I am a biochemical nutrition major here at Cornell so possibly I can help you out. Stacker 2 and most of the pills of the same nature contain the organic versions of aspirin, caffeine and the like. They DO work, although they are very unhealthy for you, and there is a very real possibility of death from working out hardcore and taking the pills at the same time. The other very bad side effect is that as soon as you stop taking the pills you gain back ALL the weight you lost while taking the pills. It is not uncommon for someone who stops taking xenadrine and its derivatives to gain 10-15 pounds in a one week.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 ICO-PRO! Haha. There used to be huge banners at WWF events for that crap. Back in the days of Lex Luger and the WBF.
Guest TheMikeSC Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 Hmm, does it work? Well, after you die from the heart attack, the weight just flies off. And, as for sexual side effects, after rigor mortis wears off, I imagine there is no side effect left. :-) Honestly, I don't know. I never have had a desire to try any of those diet supplement things. -=Mike

Guest Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 if you want to lose fat..it's simple, eat healthy and excersize the shortcut is always the wrong way.
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 if you want to lose fat..it's simple, eat healthy and excersize the shortcut is always the wrong way. Ya know, for a guy named "Marlboro Man" that's some darn good health advice!
Guest buffybeast Posted April 1, 2002 Report Posted April 1, 2002 Or one could get a prescription weight loss pill, like Meridia or Bontril. They are terribly expensive, at least to me. And these do actually work. I must disagree wil Mik of Cornell, because they did NOT work for me and the people I know who've taken them. But hey, I'm just one person.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 if you want to lose fat..it's simple, eat healthy and excersize the shortcut is always the wrong way. Shorcuts may be the wrong way... but they're the AMERICAN WRONG WAY DAMMIT! Seriously, eating healthy and exercising is so much work... it takes so much time, I want these changes NOW! Heh... I'd never trust a "dietary supplement" though.
