Guest bob_barron Report post Posted July 31, 2003 I've been reading a lot of CZW results lately and it sounds like their in a feud with IWA-MS. What's the basis for the feud? Who are the heels? Who are the faces? What's at stake? I'm just curious as to what the general storyline for this whole feud is. Thanks
Chunk 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2003 If you read Sandman9000's preview of TOD2, then that would be a good place to start. He gives a broad description of how it started and how it lead into TOD2. You can find it a few posts back.
Guest Sturgis Report post Posted July 31, 2003 There are no faces or heels, it's the fans choice so at their respective shows they chant for who they want. IIRC IWA-MS is closing in Dec. and I think this is just so that the IWA-MS wrestlers have a place to go when it does.

No, Ian is still renting the building for 4 more years and said at one of the shows in July (probably the 4th show) that they would stay open until that rent went out and they would see what would happen after that. Guest Randy Pan Report post Posted August 1, 2003 CZW are the heels at IWA-MS shows and vice versa. And the IWA-MS are looking alot more solid than they did a year ago. wouldn't suprise me if they were bigger than CZW in 4 years.
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted August 1, 2003 Basically, it's for the summer, when CZW can run deathmatches in Dover, since there is no athletic commission there. IWA-MS more or less plays the heels, since Ian and some of his crew (Axl, Necro, Corp, Bailey, Webb) have been appearing at CZW shows, including the Viking Hall ones. Ruckus and Sonjay Dutt have appeared at an IWA-MS show, and Messiah & Nick Gage are booked for IWA-MS's KODM. The main reason for this is that CZW doesn't have many people left who can do deathmatches. Gage has moved away from them for the most part, Hatred rarely does them, Mondo's body simply can't take the beating full time anymore (hence why he dropped out of KODM), Messiah really doesn't like to do them for the most part, Beater and Lobo are so beat up they were forced to quit, and Zandig's tank is running on empty. Ian and crew provide fresh bodies to slaughter. In addition, it helps Ian out with money. IWA-MS may have extended the lease on their building, but they've always had financial problems. Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted August 2, 2003 Well, how are they going to top an exploding cage match? Only way that they can do it in Philly is for it to last until Cage of Death 5. They can't run another H8 Club: Dead? type match in Philly due to the regulations, so unless the amount of violence in the feud is going to take a nosedive, you'd think that they'd kill it off here, and maybe have some of the guys, i.e. Bailey and Webb work occasionally. There is just no way CZW can have the type of violence necessary for this feud to continue in Viking Hall. No way.

Guest Sturgis Report post Posted August 6, 2003 How do you mean? And don't with an IWA victroy cuz that ain't gonna happen. The main reason for this is that CZW doesn't have many people left who can do deathmatches. We could always become wrestlers

Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted August 7, 2003 well trent acid bboy and sonjay have been anounced for the tpi Kick-ass. The IWA-MS/CZW feud has brought a ton of great moments already. Even if you're not a deathmatch fan the KODM show has this: Nick Gage and Chris Hero facing off for the first time since the infamous Cage of Death 4 match. The shocking IWA return of M-Dogg 20... against Adam Flash and Sonjay Dutt. For the indy "smark," it's markout city.
