He originally received a salary of $200,000, which has increased over time to $330,000. Mr. Ross is eligible to participate in the pool of fees paid by the Company to talent for live events. Mr. Ross is also eligible for royalties relating to products bearing his name and/or likeness. Lil' Bitch Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 JR is making 318,333 Damn... *wonders how much the other commentators make.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 I don't really think you can Monopolize your own company.
Guest Dangerous A Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 JR is making 318,333 Damn... *wonders how much the other commentators make. Not nearly as much, but JR is also director of talent, so he makes more.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted July 31, 2003 Report Posted July 31, 2003 JR basically makes $600,000 a year plus he owns a bunch of stock (less than 1% but owns more than 60,000 shares) where he could make over $100,000 if he sold them (it was part of an employee benefit plan). I guess that's what you get when you kiss the bosses ass...
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 Didn't JR leave (and then bash) WCW because of the ass-kissing?
Guest Boo_Bradley Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 I'd like to see how you guys act around your boss.... How's minimum wage treating ya?
Guest DrainYou42 Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 How's minimum wage treating ya? Great, Thanks
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 I MEANT LITERALLY!!! Jesus Christ, no one remembers the KMA club?
Guest Ripper Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 Oh okay. Cause if you meant figuratively!!!! *Shakes fist*
Guest CanadianChick Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 I MEANT LITERALLY!!! Jesus Christ, no one remembers the KMA club? I blocked that out of my memory, but then YOU had to go and bring it up. I hate you.

Agreed, plus the dividend that was paid out in June was only 0.04 cents a share. Which is only about $2400 for 60, 000 shares. The only concern that JR would have is that he better of bought them lower that the current price of $9.50 approx.
Guest JDMattitudeV1 Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 And some wrestlers are struggling to break even with road expenses, because of the incompetence of this lot. There is no justice in the world (or maybe just the WWE).

Technically, does that mean their contracts might not be renewed? I don't understand why the owners (Vince and Linda) would even be under contract to themselves.

They don't HAVE to run WWE themselves. However, in most publicly traded companies the board of directors can replace the CEO and other persons in positions of power within the company if they are doing a poor job of running it. However, since the majority of stock is still owned by the McMahons, it just turns into Linda making excuses, WWE doing nothing about the complaints, and most stockholders with sense selling off the stock.
Detective Comics Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 I'd like to see how you guys act around your boss.... How's minimum wage treating ya? I'm a prick to my bosses, they suck and I make sure to let them know. In fact, I think I will call out today and go to a party instead!

I say he is doing well...
Guest JaKyL25 Posted August 3, 2003 Report Posted August 3, 2003 I have no idea what he was making then, but keep in mind that Rey also spent a decent chunk of time in WCW, where MIKEY WHIPWRECK got $400,000 for a few matches.

I say he is doing well... I think it was one of the main 3 (Torch, Observer or 1 wrestling) who said the other week that some guys are barely making enough to cover their road expenses. Aparently the poor WM buyrate really hurt some guys pay packets. The reason you haven't heard anyone publicly complain about it is because if they did they would be fired, no questions asked.
Guest The Tino Standard Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 I'm more blown away that Kevin Dunn is making nearly a half million a year. Somebody should take him, his fat paycheck and his lame-ass sports entertainment ideas and toss them all in front of an oncoming truck.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 The WWE's production is one of the few good things they have. Kevin Dunn is a major reason for that.
Guest Choken One Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 The WWE's production is one of the few good things they have. Kevin Dunn is a major reason for that. He was also somewhat responsible for Katie Vick.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 From what I hear, HHH and McMahon are responsible.
Guest The Tino Standard Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 For every good thing Kevin Dunn has been responsible for, he's also been behind things like Katie Vick and the JR being burned by Kane segment. He had a nice run, but the bad is starting to outweigh the good.
Guest Choken One Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Dunn is good for Production Shit...NOT Creative...
Guest EricMM Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Do the wrestlers have to pay for their own flights and hotels? If so, constant traveling would get expensive.
