ROH News: New stipulation for Raven/Punk on 9/6

The ROH original Raven vs. CM Punk war has exploded into feud of the year and the next chapter will take place September 6th when ROH returns to the Massachusetts National Guard Armory in Cambridge, MA. Tickets have already sold quickly to this event so don't delay as only third row remain for ringside. The show will feature a main event of Raven vs. CM Punk in a steel cage, but now much more will be on the line.

 

On July 19th at "Death Before Dishonor" CM Punk tried to embarrass Raven by pouring beer down the recovered alcoholics throat. Raven, with help from Tommy Dreamer, ended up pouring beer down Punk's throat, which is the most insulting thing you can do to the straight edge Punk.

 

Now in Boston on September 6th these two hated rivals will try to hand each other the ultimate embarrassment. The winner of the steel cage match will get to shave the loser's head right in the middle of the ring!!! This isn't any BS stipulation, Raven and Punk will make each other bleed inside a steel cage and after the bout one of these two proud individuals will get their head shaved bald. For a minute I thought it said the event was sold out. I would have flipped, since I'm not getting my ticket until I get my check on Tuesday.

And Raven didn't get the win over Punk in that match, he pinned Ace Steele if I'm not mistaken. It was pretty clear that Raven should go over in the cage to begin with.

 

Hair vs Hair is an awesome stipulation, and I love ROH's nods to the past more and more every day. However, I can't imagine either guy without hair.

 

I can't wait until I tell a female friend of mine who loves both men like teenage girls to Jeff Hardy. Man, that's going to be fun.

 

Awesome stipulation to end an awesome feud in what should be an awesome match.
