The release date of the X2 DVD is still tentative, but will either be towards the last week of September or the first weeks of October. Here are the detail of the DVD (Keep in mind, these may change): DISC I *Feature Film *Deleted Scenes: -Professor Xavier and Cyclops return -Fight in the mall -Extended Wolverine/Deathstrike -Nightcrawler's Mark -Rogue/Bobby talk about Pyro -Alternative Scene 1 -Alternative Scene 2 -Rogue helps kids during mansion raid -Extended Colossus/X-Kids Scene -Wolverine enters the 'Danger Room' door *Featurettes (On set footage) *Commentaries: -Director/Producer -Director/Cast Members *1 Easter Egg DISC II *Featurette's: -Return of the Mutants -Mutant Effects -X2: The Cast -Press Conference -Reflections -On Set: Making of X2 -HBO First Look: X2 -Art Gallery/Animatics -4 Trailers, 7 TV Spots -Future of the X-Men *2 Easter Eggs Please keep in mind that these are tentative to appear on the DVD. Meanwhile, '[hateMONGER]' sent us this about an international version and a box set... I was going through the Playstation.com's Japanese site and came across the info for the Region 2 X2 DVD and just thought I'd give the details as to the features on the disc. Of course, some of these details may vary for the other releases, but I think the extras may be the same. My translations may be a little rough as well. It's going to be released on Sept 12 and will contain the following features: - 1 Dual Layered Disc - Presented in 16:9 "Cinema Scope" size - 134 mins - Audio tracks (1) English 5.1 DTS (2) English 5.1 Surround (3) Japanese 5.1 Surround - Subtitles (1) Japanese (2) English Extras included are: - Fox TV Special: Xpose - X2: X-Men United - 11 Deleted Scenes: (Wolverine vs. Deathstrike, Cafeteria Fight Scene, Mystique File Stealing Sequence, Nightcrawler helping a child, Jean and Storm scene in the X-Jet, Opening Sequence, Camp Scene, Helping the Children, Rogue issuing commands of Refuge, Professor X's Victory, Professor X's return to the school by Helicoptor) - Still Image Gallery - 2 Storyboards (White House Attack Scene, X-Jet Crash Scene) - Some Trailer Previews There's also a 2 disc set containing both Movies, with what looks like just the original disc release of X-Men. The extras describe it as a 1 Dual-layered Disc with all the original extras and manufactured in 2000. The 2 Disc set will be released on Sept 12 as well. Guest eiker_ir Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 those deleted scenes sound veeeery interesting, i loved this movie so obviousy i'm getting this the second it comes out. and i hope that the region 1 cover isn't like that R2 cover, i like the picture of the mutants but that big X-MEN 2 with the world behind just doesn't looks good.

This pic has me most intrigued as to why they would cut the rescuing scene down. My guess is time constraints. I especially can't wait to see all the behind-the-scenes stuff for scenes like the opening scene, Magneto escaping, etc etc.
Guest packwingfn Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 On the 2 disc X Men 1 and X Men 2 package, are both discs gonna have all the xtras on it as well? I dont have X Men 1 on DVD yet and figured i might as well just wait for the 2 disc package, but only if they all the extras included
