No love for Natural Born Sinners v. Carnage Crew?

 

That was the way a violent sick brawl SHOULD be as those guys just murdered each other. It also set the stage for all the other Fight w/o Honor matches so it was pretty influential.

 

I also think you overrated the TWA Tag match. I love London but those guys seemed to be on different pages during that match. The greeness of everyone really showed.

 

Other then that it was a good review- I agree with your ****3/4 rating on the 4-way

That bunkhouse match was ***1/2 for me.

 

IMO, American Dragon vs. Low Ki from Round Robin Challenge was MOTY 2002 with this at a close second.

We'll probably have to agree to disagree on the bunkhouse match, because the first half of that was no different than a low-end ECW brawl. And I liked ECW.

 

The second half of that match ruled, but I kinda had to average things out, ya know.

Yeah, I tried to fix that and had a hell of a time with the editor.

I really enjoyed the Jeremy Lopez vs. Mamaluke match and thought it deserved better than ** stars. Go back and watch it again

 

Great review and you are right on the money with "Crowning the Champion" not being one of the top ROH shows. But the Main Event was indeed worth the cost of the tape by itself.
