WWE Conversation Inspired by a Fucking Retard.

Well, WWE can always set up smaller PPV sets if the event sells out or is on pace to sell very well.

Do you realize that WWE spent one million dollars for that atrocious WM 18 set? Talk about a lack of ingenuity; it looked like an arbitrary labyrinth of steel poles.

I still want one good reason why Batista isn't feuding with Castro.

Now that I'm reminded of him, I'm beginning to miss the Batista "why should a bad wrestler be on my TV and hyped as a big deal" arguments.

But then again, there's the bi-weekly argument about Randy Orton regarding the same subject.

Anyone notice that the KotR PPV set from '02 was the exact same chair set as from"01 but with the electric chair effects. That's one thing old Vinnie never used to do: reuse old PPV sets.

When the stop using the curent SD set they'd better have somebody destroy the giant fist on-camera.

Didn't they use Backlash's set for at least three years? Maybe four?

Isn't Chavo out as well? I haven't seen anything of him in a long while.

Yeah, but I mean in 2000, every set (even Backlash) seemed to look fresh and original. Now it looks like they're using combinations of old set pieces.

The only cool looking PPV stage I seem to remember in the past few years is NWO '02 with those big Trucks blocking the stage.

Wow, I can't believe all of these guys are out that I wasn't even thinking of.

That says a lot right there, either about me or WWE.

Where EXACTLY did Vince store the swinging pendulem?

I liked the Armageddon 1999 set with all the war Machines and shit

The sad thing about that is that it was just BEGGING, BEGGING to be vandalized by the nWo, seeing as how that was their WWE debut, but it wasn't.

Just another minor point in the book of 1,000,000 Things Wrong with the nWo in WWE

speaking of sets....in rerospect i kind of liked the WMX8 set....when i first went there and saw it i thaught it was gaudy and was one big mess. The X7 set looked decent too.

I wonder what theyre gonna do for WMXX in MSG, i hope they do the classic rampway down the middle of the arena and now some giant stage.

Same here. It was simple, creative, and gave the PPV a nice atmosphere. They should think along these lines before condtructing some monstrosity that the fans wont give a damn about.

Wasn't it Judgment Day this year that looked like an incomplete piece of pipe structure crap and actually OBSCURED the video screens?

Worst. Set. Ever.

What was Backlash like this year? It sucked for not being the old one.

P.S. Vince kept the set in an underground dungeon, where Rob Van Dam was tied to a table and the pendulum kept coming closer, and closer, and closer, until he was saved by La Resistance.

Who's gonna win the 2004 Royal Rumble? I'm guessing Randy Orton will.

Zach Gowan is a fucking Lock.

Meanwhile, Ric Flair was stranded at sea in an attempt to finally reel in Shark Boy.

Choken's right. By virtue of not having both feet ever touching the floor, Gowan can never be eliminated from the Rumble.

Of course, we all know Maven won last year.

YES! You get a trophy!

So let's see: Poe, Hemingway, who else can we tie into WWE? Steinbeck? Fitzgerald?
