Guest The Czech Republic Posted August 3, 2003 Report Posted August 3, 2003 Sometimes when I screw up and double-post, or want to add something else or taking something else, I edit my post, like we all do. However, sometimes I get the "this was edited by" line following my post after doing so. Then again, sometimes I don't. What's the formula for how this line occurs? Time elapsed since initial posting? The way you edited? It doesn't seem to be based off anything as far as I can tell. Well, thanks in advance for clarifying this useless fact.
Guest Eagan469 Posted August 3, 2003 Report Posted August 3, 2003 If you edit it 10 minutes after the initial post, it adds the "edited by" line. If you edit your post before then, it doesn't.
Guest subliminal_animal Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I'm not so sure of Eagan's take on the whole situation. It might be a trick, considering his reputation here as a notorious trickster. And it might be just me, but ... Eagan469 = Prince Paul = RockFan = Muddy Wishkah = Chuck E Cheese = Beavis = a real stinker
Guest Eagan469 Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 So it's come to this...flaming me outside of NHB in topics where I'm trying to help someone out. Very, very sad.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I dunno, but I think Subliminal might have been being sarcastic. Just a little bit.
