Guest Choken One Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 U mean... Jericho's Beautilful hair. I'm thinking HHH fed Jericho the "Hey it worked for Angle" line.
LaParkaYourCar Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 You're right...not Nash's hair. Jericho's hair. If they're bringing Jericho's WCW Conspiracy gimmick then they better go all out!
Guest bob_barron Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 That's sad when they're starting to rip off Ring of Honor
LaParkaYourCar Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 What did ROH invent the Hair vs. Hair match and I didn't know it?
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Well this is just unbelievable, it's Nash vs. Jericho and I'm gonna be rooting for Nash?!!!?
Guest Shaved Bear Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 maybe they will cut nash's hair because his legs cant take the extra weight
Guest PhantMan Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 maybe they will cut nash's hair because his legs cant take the extra weight
Guest bob_barron Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 What did ROH invent the Hair vs. Hair match and I didn't know it? No but it's just a bit too convenient when they make tease a hair v. hair match a few days after ROH does
Guest TheGame2705 Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 What did ROH invent the Hair vs. Hair match and I didn't know it? My thoughts exactly.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Did they tell Nash about this in Australia? I'd faint too.
LaParkaYourCar Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Why would that matter? It's not like ROH is a direct competition right now. So why would they do it to take shots at ROH?
Guest Choken One Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 What did ROH invent the Hair vs. Hair match and I didn't know it? No but it's just a bit too convenient when they make tease a hair v. hair match a few days after ROH does Oh shut the fuck up with you idiotic theory that WWE is copying off of ROH. Hair Vs Hair Existed LONG before those flippy floppers were born... The world doesn't revolve around what ROH does.
Guest bob_barron Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Why would that matter? It's not like ROH is a direct competition right now. So why would they do it to take shots at ROH? Didn't say they were. I just find it funny that Ring of Honor books a hair v. hair match and then a week later- WWE makes one
Guest CanadianChris Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I wonder if WWE has even heard of ROH.
Guest VaineGlory Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Jericho should say goodbye to his golden locks However, if they are bringing back his conspiracy theory gimmick, he might be able to find some sort of loophole...
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 That's just like when TNA started priniting the Evolution is the Only Solution T-shirts 5 days before WWE named their group.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I wonder if WWE have even heard of common decency. Not the hair, anything but the hair!
Guest CanadianChris Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Jericho should say goodbye to his golden locks However, if they are bringing back his conspiracy theory gimmick, he might be able to find some sort of loophole... Yep...although nothing will ever top Jericho going to the Library of Congress to find the NWA rulebook.
Guest Choken One Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Evolution's Name was copyrighted before that.
Bored Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Don't you love it when WWE pulls out one of these *wink, wink* to the internet matches/angles and then of course will just piss everyone off by having Nash win and teaching us who's boss. But when it comes down to it I guess if you shaved Nash's head you'd kill him and even Nash doesn't deserve that.
Guest bob_barron Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Oh shut the fuck up with you idiotic theory that WWE is copying off of ROH. Hair Vs Hair Existed LONG before those flippy floppers were born... Oh shut the fuck up with your ignorance. If you've seen one Ring of Honor tape then you would know that it is more then just flippy floppy wrestling. Try to know what you're talking about next time. I just think it's very convenient that WWE teases a hair v. hair match a week after ROH does
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I wonder if WWE has even heard of ROH. Considering they let Tommy Dreamer appear there twice I'd say yes.
Guest bob_barron Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I wonder if WWE has even heard of ROH. They have. They've allowed Tommy Dreamer to make two surprise apperances at the show and let Eddy Guerrero and Paul London fulfill their indy commitments by working ROH
LaParkaYourCar Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I'll actually agree with Bob there. There's a lot of mat wrestling going on in ROH. And WWE wishes they could put on consistently good shows like ROH.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Yeah, like anyone who books in the WWE watches RoH. Most people in the WWE don't realize wrestling exists outside of that company.
Guest Choken One Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 ohhh...Did I touch a nerve? Yeah. I've seen more then 20 ROH Matches. Good Stuff...Still Flip-Floppery. Doesn't matter... It's still Barron's insistance that he really believes ROH is such a Major threat that WWE would copy off of their ideas that has been around for the last 50 years.
Guest razazteca Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Well I doubt that ROH goes as far as CMLL does when it comes to hair matches. Does ROH have an official barber who cuts the hair of the losers? I wish this match was a DQ match and both lose their hair, but it most likely will not be 2/3 falls.
