I want to order the PRIDE Middleweight Tourney this Sunday on PPV, but I really don't know the steps involved. I have basic cable which probably doesn't help.

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Call your cable company, and DEMAND~! Pride.

Not all cable companies offer ppv or all ppv events. Just call you cable company and ask them if they have ppv, are carrying the show and that you would like to order it.

I'm pretty sure they're carrying the PPV because I've seen commercials advertising for it on the TV Guide channel for Channel 301.

If you have a remote for the cable box, when its time to order the show, go to the channel and follow the instructions. Usually its a button press or two and you're set.

Looks like you need digital cable, if you don't have it then you will need to rent a cable box from your cable provider.

If you have basic cable, you need a cable box to recieve the PPV signal. If you don't have a cable box, call up your cable company as soon as possible to rent a cable box. Day of the show, call the cable company (theres usually an automated menu to order PPVs, or just talk to a customer service rep) and ask to order the show.

 

Now if you have digital cable (which I know you indicated you don't), usually you can order PPVs on screen with your remote control. Simply, select the show from the menu and click the "order" button on screen.
