Anyone ever think of writing any comic related stories?

 

I've thought about it plenty of times cause I enjoy writing, but I've never really done any.

Yes. I've actually been in the fan fiction community (in varying degrees) for probably about five years now. I'm currently involved in The Gargoyles Saga (TGS) project, based upon Disney's classic "Gargoyles" animated series.

 

I wrote a handful of Batman fanfics a few years back, but nothing I'd be willing to post anywhere.

I worked on one EPIC, mostly based on Batman Universe, but with character from Image, marvel and even some Rock stars.

 

Sadly my idea became too much and I dropped the idea.

 

It came to me after a weird dream where I dreammed about a story (a la Fairy Tale) to read for children.

I've been thinking about writing a comic script one of these days...It's the one type of script I've never tried writing, and I do have a story I'd like to tell...Plus with the current Marvel Epic line looking for new submissions all the time, it couldn't hurt to try writing it and sending it in...I just need to find an outline for the comic script format...I assume it's nowhere near the same as television/movie scripts...

Well I wrote and submitted a script about Jon Allerdyce (Pyro) to Epic,

 

and I've been working on an original idea of my own, have the script for issue 1 more or less done, and the rest of the run plotted out, just tinkering with it (am gonna try Dark Horse first, then maybe some others... however, there's no way I'm sending this one to Epic)
