IC Title Changes hands........

Meltz is reporting that Christian won the IC Title tonight at a House Show in Des Moines, Iowa. Booker went for the axe kick on Christian and dropped to the mat, screaming in pain. Christian improvised by picking Booker up and pinning him via the Unprettier.

Now that doesn't make any sense. Maybe it's one of those phantom changes...

I don't know if this was planned or not, I don't think a title change would not be planned ahead of time. So hopefully this is just Vince deciding that maybe he needs to do something to pick up house attendance. It's a step in the right direction, another step would be to stop pushing so many people who don't work house shows. That's one of the reasons why Goldberg can't be world champion, he never works house shows.

 

I hope Booker isn't hurt too badly, I genuinely like watching him perform. Christian as champ again? I guess there are worse people who could have the belt. It'll be interesting to see how this plays on Raw tomorrow night. Are they gonna downplay it, or make a big deal out of it? I would make a big deal out of it, make the people think they missed something big, and give them the idea that anything can happen at a non-televised event. If it was planned to happen, then it's a good idea. If it wasn't planned, then it's a shame Booker is hurt so bad, but it might end up helping either way.
