Guest Coffey Report post Posted August 12, 2003 That women's match tonight on RAW was a joke. What the hell are some of you people talking about? First off, Trish botched the corner spot. Secondly, Gail almost killed herself on the sling shot body splash and finally the match ended with a clothesline. The match had no heat, nor should it have. It was two minutes long, and was junk...just like RAW.
Guest deadbeater Report post Posted August 12, 2003 Another reason to like Molly: she has more ways to finish a match than anyone else. Anyone else. As she is also inring director, she can dictate the finish. Watch for her to win her match a different way next week.

the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 I would imagine you will be crazy for a while then. After interfering last week, it made no sense for her not to be in this match unless she really fucked up her knee last week I don't mind the women's wrestling right now. Yes, the characters are stale and no, they aren't very good. But they seem to bust their ass out there, and I would rather watch people busting their ass and sucking than people just going out there and sucking. Plus, I like seeing hot women (sue me). Have everyone else improve, and go past the women and we can talk. But there are many more things that need to be addressed before jumping on the women's division. I couldn't agree more. Yes, we're smarks who focus on talent and character and charisma, but work-rate plays a major role too and the women are definitely leading the pack when it comes to that. Well, at least on RAW, I suppose. And there's nothing wrong with them being hot women.

It's just so fake.

Fökai 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 Quote "Do we know what the injury is? How she got it? How long she's out for? If she's even injured?" Victoria's been battling an injured leg for awhile. That's why she's wearing the leg brace. Last week's Raw looked to be the final straw. When she first came down to the ring interfering she threw around Stratus? and busted her leg. That's where she hurt herself. It was either from preforming the move or from her opponent landing on her leg. (perhaps a combination of both) It was immediatly evident and looked very, very sick. She gutted it out afterwards though. Kudos to her and kudos to the women tonight for despite being out there for only a couple of minutes were easily the best part of Raw. He was referring to Jazz, not Victoria. Nothing has been reported about Jazz's status over the last six weeks that she's been out of action.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 I like the fact that they actually spent a minute last night to explain Gail Kims heel turn, although I think she forgot about the Confidential interview.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 I like the fact that they actually spent a minute last night to explain Gail Kims heel turn, although I think she forgot about the Confidential interview. Well, so few people watch Confidential anyway, so it's easily forgettable.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 I'm an optomist, so sue me. Uhh..you're in the wrong place, buddy. For some things, I'm an optomist. I'm not an optomist for something like...oh...HHH being visited by Jesus and sent on a path of righteousness, thusly putting everyone he faces over. For the women's division though, I'm an optomist. notJames 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2003 Perhaps if they gave the women more than 1:27 (rough guess-timate) to strut their stuff, they could pace themselves better, tell a decent in-ring story, and not botch so many moves and hurt themselves. The ending was the only good thing about last night's match, and that was only because of Molly. Speaking of which, they really need to capitalize on Molly's momentum (what little there is anyway) and give her as much screen time as possible. She's easily the best one on the roster, and by showcasing her more and giving her more to do, that's the only way the rest of the women's division will get a chance to shine. Besides, she's only the Women's champ, no?
Guest Lilly Report post Posted August 12, 2003 I always think the women never really get that fair of a chance, it seems like the spotlight is on them so much more for them then the men on many occasaions For example what Trish did last night setting up the headscissors, from what I read how she f*cked up and how she botched that move, you'd think she fallen on her face! But what happened was she ran to the corner, noticed she didn't have the best footing so she stepped down for a second and jumped again and did the headscissor move all in one motion. Sure she's done it better 99% of the time but it was far from embarassing or missing a spot totally. But everyone is quick with the "you f*cked up" comments. Last night I see Kane unable to take a top rope clothesline but it's all but forgotten. I bet if it's Trish getting tangled on the ropes, most would forget all about the rest of segment and just comment on that. In the women match, I thought Gail looked bad but Trish and Molly looked good. Love the spine-buster with authority Trish did early in the match, and Molly using her experience to trick Gail was nice booking.
