Guest nWoScorpion Posted April 2, 2002 Report Posted April 2, 2002 Time to for the audience to vote. lol.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted April 2, 2002 Report Posted April 2, 2002 The Rock, underappreciated both by the WWF and by many (although not all) of the net smarks.
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Posted April 2, 2002 Report Posted April 2, 2002 Hmmm...I'll say Booker T, due to his lack of role and direction in the WWF right now and the fact that he could easily be a major player. That may all change with the roster split, but for right now, he easily gets my vote for most underappreciated.
Guest The Man in Blak Posted April 2, 2002 Report Posted April 2, 2002 Though I know there's a lot of politicking behind why he became so big in WCW, I kinda think Diamond Dallas Page is a little unappreciated. I mean, he came into the WWF and essentially laid down in the most ridiculous manner for the Undertaker and didn't complain about it. He was swindled into this "motivation speaker" gimmick, which he's turned around from being a humiliation to be a fairly over gimmick, and he's still been a decent worker in the ring. The guy's not pushing to get friends to be made the leader of the nWo, or pushing for a feud with Hogan, or sitting out of the WWF in a personal strike. I'd say give DDP some credit here.
Guest Some Guy Posted April 2, 2002 Report Posted April 2, 2002 Of those listed Booker has the most up-side IMO, he is a good worker, entertainig on the mic, and has a good look and size for WWF.
Guest Posted April 2, 2002 Report Posted April 2, 2002 Booker is pretty underappreciated.... ....but being a Jericho mark (Anglesault is to Kurt Angle as vitaminx31 is to Chris Jericho...) I'd say that Jericho is the most underappreciated. His entrance in the fed in `99 got the most attention of the guys in his generation of WWF superstars (that generation including E & C, Angle, Benoit, RVD, etc.) since it was the beginning of the reverse migration now from WCW to the WWF... One thing that had always upset me was how everyone loved Jericho (despite being marketed as a kickass heel) and people such as Benoit and Angle got opportunities and good booking in that magical year of 2000 while Jericho was stuck jobbing out to Benoit and fuckin Kane, of all people. Ugggh...
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted April 2, 2002 Report Posted April 2, 2002 Booker and DDP. Two men who deserve more of a push and I suspect are still being held back due to being WCW guys.
Guest Posted April 2, 2002 Report Posted April 2, 2002 I'd have to agree with ya there Eskimo..Though DDP can't draw, and I'm not sure if the writers would know how to handle Booker T properly to get him to draw....Definitely appeal to the black audience, since most of wrestling is caucasian-oriented (I can only think of Rock, Faarooq, and asian jobbers as other minorities..)
Guest Posted April 2, 2002 Report Posted April 2, 2002 X-Pac Sean Waltman rules, and fuck everyone who thinks otherwise
Guest saturnmark4life Posted April 2, 2002 Report Posted April 2, 2002 alright, i voted for show. The guy as good a worker as any 500 pound man is ever going to be. He's out of shape because he is guaranteed a huge pay packet whatever happens, due to his contract. At least he tries, and jobs when asked. Other than that, Saturn. All the guys on the list are underappreciated in the wwf.
