Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 Sean Burroughs. Also, Chris Drury pitched Trumbull, CT to the title, then went on to win the Stanley Cup w/ Colorado. He may have been rookie of the year, also, but I'm not sure.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 Gary Sheffield and Derek Bell were teammates one year at the Little League world series. The biggest problem, I have with showing so many games. It's a platform for the egomaniac managers.

sfaJack 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 Holy crap what a game last night. Yeah, a lot of the people around here are in mourning today over Richmond's loss last night. Their coach was on the Houston sports talk station this morning and he said that game last night was more emotional than anything he's ever been through in his life. He also hinted that he felt Mass. got a huge break on the game-winning play, as he said the kid running to first was out...but I guess that doesn't matter now. nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 Holy crap what a game last night. I was at Players in Salem NH last night during the game. More people were watching the Saugus-Texas little league game than they were the Red Sox-A's game. And in New England, normally NOTHING gets more of a pop than the Red Sox. It was "school girl night" at the bar, so I was watching the bartenders more than EITHER game personally.
