I wouldn't call it a purists dream since RVD isn't as great as a wrestler as a Benoit, Guerrero, Malenko or Owen Hart. But if it is building up for a 15-20 minute Backlash match, it would be enough for me to buy or watch the PPV.

well, the crowd seemed hot for it..when you think about it, this is almost a fantasy match-up

 

With the two men, with two of the best frogsplashes in the business..now all we need is the return of D'Lo Brown at Backlash with two frogsplashes!

I can see it going into a Backlash 15-20 minute match,it'll be that that sells,not Taker/HHH could there be any worse of a match

Eddy is always over as a heel or a face and RVD is way over right now, so the crowd will be into it.  Eddy should be able to reign in RVD's spotyness and get a good match out of him.  I think it definantley will be fun to watch.  Eddy's frog splash is better though, he always hits it right on and he jacknifes his legs and arms properly, and it makes a better impact IMO.

hey, right before he got kicked out of the wwf eddy was feeling it, his in-ring work was great & his "befriending" of the hardys was sparking a lot of interest.  i say give him all the drugs he wants, just let him be the man.
