Bored 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2003 You know usually the opening weekend there is only two or three games but usually at least one of them looks good on paper. This year ain't the case...the best the NCAA can come up with is Kansas St. kicking the shit out of Cal and a match-up of a I-AA team in Grambling State and a team that might as well be I-AA in San Jose St. You would have thought the NCAA would have pushed to have the USC/Auburn game pushed up a week so we could get a marquee match-up to kick off the season. Oh well I'll probably still tune in for a little bit to K-St./Cal.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2003 Great bring on the 55-10 blow out games. I feel sorry for University of North Texas, they get the honor of padding the schedule of "great" programs like Oklahoma and Texas.

Actually North Texas is pretty good and is a lock to win the pathetic Sun Belt conference. They'll still get blown out but there are worse cases of schedule padding. Guest undisputedjericho Report post Posted August 23, 2003 As a non college FB fan, could someone shed some light on who you think will be some of the top picks in the NFL draft next year? The only player I know is the WR from Miami, Winslow I think his name is. And what about Clarrett? Other than that, every college football player I knew of has graduated to the pros. I'm a huge SEC fan and there are a few good ones coming from our way. Auburn(those bastards!) have a couple of great RB's coming out next year.
