Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted August 25, 2003 Yeah, I was thinking the same. How the hell were they suppose to know before hand Goldberg would get a pop that big? The pop isn't even that big a deal. The drama of the match built up the excitment for Goldberg. Thst still doesn't justify the fact that Triple H should not have gone over tonight in the manner that he did. They were finally booking him correctly and showed that they knew what they were doing- and they dropped the ball Tonight Goldberg could be booed out of the arena. Just like Angle and Lesnar coming out to absolute silence last night? Let's take away their main event push. Heh Maybe Goldberg was Winded after Mowing through 2 former WWF Champions and a Up and coming 3rd generation wrestler.. Hell if Nash was still there Goldberg might have gone down to the Classic Taped Up circa 1980's foreign object. Brock n Lesnar match was pretty good, to bad it had to be stuck under Kane v RVD and the Elimination chamber...couldn't they at least had the Title matches back to back? Guest THE MIGHTY THOR Report post Posted August 25, 2003 As much as i hate Goldberg, i think that last night should've been his night to win the title. The crowd was into him and he was booked like the unstoppable monster that he was in WCW, the Goldberg magic was there last night, but all it took was an sledgehammer to beat Goldberg after he destroyed HBK,Y2J,Orton and half of that birdcage. If he gets the title on the next ppv the magic won't be there anymore, he could squash HHHomo(even though that would never happen since Cunter won't allow it) it's still not going to be the same. Guest JumpinJackFlash Report post Posted August 25, 2003 I don't know about you guys, but I think this was Goldberg's best performance ever. He was focused tonight, and he didn't mess up! I mean he KILLED Randy Orton! Even I was cheering for Goldberg. When he eliminated Chris Jericho, I felt bad, but not too bad, since Goldberg was on fire. Right then and there, I knew this was Goldberg's one shot, and his chance to flow. But his opportunity goes, once in a lifetime. I like HHH, but this was a very dumb idea. I mean, HHH is injured! He barely wrestled in this match, and he wins with a Sledgehammer! And Goldberg didn't even kick out! Why does HHH keep the title when he is injured? I wouldn't have minded him keeping the title, but only if he was in good shape to wrestle. But when was the last time HHH was in good shape to wrestle, or when was the last time HHH was in shape to wrestle good?

Guest BDC Report post Posted August 25, 2003 According to something over at Lordsofpain.net, Triple H will be ready to wrestle in two weeks time. Okay, this is why I get so bent out of shape about HHH. He hasn't really wrestled for a month and won't for two more weeks. It gives me a headache to see such thinking... Guest JumpinJackFlash Report post Posted August 25, 2003 I read at Wrestlezone that HHH and Paterson were said to be booking the EC Match. Ironically, after the PPV, Patterson and HHH sang "My Way." Coincidence? I think not!
