Guest JMA Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Think about it. You could have each wrestler represent their respective country. America - Christopher Nowinski France - La Resistance (even though they're Canadian) Britain - William Regal Canada - Lance Storm Japan - Ultimo Dragon Anyone else think it could work?
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Nathan Jones... he can stand in the background looking tough but Never...EVER get in the ring!
Guest wrestlingbs Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 No, because it sucks. We've already gone down this road before with evil foreign stables (Un-Americans, La Resistance) and each time it sucked.
dubq Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Anyone else think it could work? Yes, it could work... if by "work" you mean be the "stupidest thing on television in a long time." Then, yeah. It could "work."
Guest JMA Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Eh, I was only half serious. Afterall, for some reason the WWE has been very political lately. Something I don't really like.
Guest Coffey Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 They should just make a new team Canada, but use the Hart Foundation concept. Chris Jericho Sean Morley Christian Lance Storm Trish Stratus Chris Jericho could become the World Champion again because he would have a stable to protect him and cheat for him. Sean Morley would have a reason to change his name and get out of the awful Val Venis gimmick. I would tag him with Christian because Christian should still be looked at like a "tag team specialist" because of all the tag team success he has had. Give them the tag team titles and it adds another tag team to the Raw roster. Lance Storm could win the Intercontinental Title and finally get a singles push in the WWE that didn't rely on stupid fucking comedy. He wouldn't have to worry about mic work because he would be in a stable with Chris Jericho. Trish could turn heel and join the stable. She could re-win the Women's title and add a spark of new life to that division. Should could also escort different members of the stable to the ring as their valet (to help give them heat/pops) and it would make sense for her to run interferance since she would be heel. The stable would have all the gold (like the Hart foundation did). I think that the stable could give a push to Lance Storm, Christian & Sean Morley, it would add new life to the women's division and it could finally thrust Jericho into the main event title scene.
MixxMaster Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 If there's anything more tired than a "foreigner" stable...it's a Canadian stable. Enough of the Hart Foundation talk, and the Canadian Horsemen stuff. It's old, it's way past its time, and nobody(except for canadians) would care.
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 How about a heel turned Rosie after he squashes Hurricane for taking his S.H.I.T and represents the Samoan Islands

OK --- let's face it: WHEN YOU RE-DO THINGS, IT DOES NOT WORK. Let Team Canada die. Let the Hart Foundation die. And, for God's sake, let the Horsemen die. -=Mike

Would they sit around and do nothing all day? Would they be oblivious to reality? Would they dislike Jews? How would they portray this "UN" concept?
Guest JMA Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Would they sit around and do nothing all day? Would they be oblivious to reality? Would they dislike Jews? How would they portray this "UN" concept? It's more of a play on words. They would be "united" and be from different "nations."
Guest Coffey Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 I think my idea is a good idea. Who cares if it's a rehash? Everything in wrestling is pretty much a rehash. That's why you have a writing team to keep things fresh. It's not my fault that they suck. Only Canadians would care? Bullshit. Only Canadians would cheer maybe. I think it's a good idea. Fuck ya'll.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 There should be a Mexican wrestler in there.
