Guest Downhome Posted April 2, 2002 Report Posted April 2, 2002 Hmmm, perhaps they are attempting to make the RAW show more like the old WCW after all. First we have Flair being the "owner" of it, and that's great! No problem at all there, but last night there were more mistakes than usual on a WWF program. At the begining of the show, there were quite a few mistakes. The "WWF NewYork" glitch, the mistakes when annoucing the matches for later that night, etc... Then they f'd up Kane's pyro, the first time I can ever remember seeing that happen. I dunno, maybe I just noticed them more so last night, but to me... ...they really goofed up little things like that quite a bit. Like I said, perhaps they really do want this to be their "WCW Show". Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 The beginning was fucked up but it seemed to me like the director wasn't sure which graphics needed to be displayed.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 That doesn't even take into account some of the wrestling. The Hardy Girls match seemed like they were extremely rusty. XPac's kicks were so slow I thought he was going to fall over. And don't even get me started on Bossman.
Guest notJames Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Having HHH as champion... oh wait, you mean specific mistakes from last night... um... Booking HHH and UT at Backlash... What do you mean they did that on purpose? :0
Guest razazteca Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Bossman was splitting up some weird substance....not a good site....bad cameraman bad The Perfect oversell of the Hardys signature move in the corner XPac vs Kane nuff said Ric Flair over-acting more than Vince: Styling N Profiling vs the Evil Smile Austin was standing there trying not to fall down laughing.

The Hardy Girls match seemed like they were extremely rusty. XPac's kicks were so slow I thought he was going to fall over. And don't even get me started on Bossman. Eh, I didn't think the wrestling mistakes were worthy of being mentioned, as they were highly obvious when they happened, lol. At least they let Booker/RVD, Spike/Regal, and Bubba/Raven go at it for some decent amounts of time. That put a big smile on my face.

Guest dreamer420 Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 The knee drop on the beer can was the greatest thing I have ever seen.
Guest Risk Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Debra is such a dumbass...she said this. "Everyone is wondering...whether Stone Cole Steve Austin...will sign with Mr. McMahon...OR MR. MCMAHON." Even Coach saw how dumb she looked. He was mumbling to himself about it. Please, get Debra off tv.
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Downhome, If you want to see the worst and most obvious case of Kane's pyro not going off, check out Royal Rumble 1999 during the UT-HBK main. Kane comes out and does obligatory UT turn number 271 turning on Taker and helping Shawn. He raises his arms and the ring posts do nothing. So he just beats on Taker, and then lights him on fire.
Guest WarMachine Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 At least they let Booker/RVD, Spike/Regal, and Bubba/Raven go at it for some decent amounts of time. That put a big smile on my face. Hear hear! And the fact that Eddy showed up! Admittedly the mistakes did cast a shadow, and weren't very good for the first night of the Split. Especially in what I saw as a simply average show. Flair flubbed some words. The Perfect over-sell/no-sell. I don't think Jeff even reached Perfect at this point. When I saw it, my first thoughts were that Perfect was trying to avoid it, as if it were planned. Either way, it came off as bad. In fact the whole match was bad. Only thing that saved it was Brock coming in and destroying the Hardyz. I thought he was actually gonna do the SSP though, kind of like showing the Hardyz who the "real" highflyer was. Kane's delay on the pyro. The dead crowd. Debra is such a dumbass...she said this. "Everyone is wondering...whether Stone Cole Steve Austin...will sign with Mr. McMahon...OR MR. MCMAHON." Didn't even notice that.
Guest HartFan86 Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 She actually said "Will he go with Mr. Flair or Mr. McMahon"...I just watched it again.
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 She DID say Mr. Flair or Mr. McMahon. She just said it so slowly that it was hard to tell what the hell she was talking about.
Guest Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Flair flubbed some words. He usually does, but the way he did it was a little different. Flair noticed that was mispronouncing his words and corrected himself. I've never heard him acknowledge his speaking miscues, at least not to that degree.
Guest Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Debra is nasty ass! At least Perfect didn't have to do the job..
Guest goodhelmet Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Speaking of Mr. Perfect and mistakes, who decided to make Perfect and Bossman a team? It's not like Perfect was doing anything worthwhile anyway but Bossman?!?!?! Fuck
